The place was wonderful. Only comments my in-laws had were the coffee pot would not shut off unless you unplugged it. They are also both in their 90's and the shower was difficult for my monther-in-law. Other than that they both enjoyed your home.
Was fine to stay for short visit. Bed broke during the night waited 48 hours for a repair used twin beds in other room in the mean time. Front door lock was not working had to get service to help with that went from a simple 4 digit code to 12 digit code which was cumbersome to use and remember. Bike lock code was incorrect bikes were thrown in a heap by the back door needed two people to get to them out for use. But these were problems the site management company should have done better with. Unit was cute and clean otherwise
Clean place, little dated property, but effort to keep it updated was there. Furniture needs help, master bed, twin beds need to be replaced with new comforters, patio slide door didn’t close well. overall clean and very nice location.will rent again.
Overall it was a nice accommodation. Improvements can be made with certain fixtures.
Perfect set up for a small family. There were 2 adults, a toddler and an infant that stayed here. The master bedroom has plenty of room for a pack n play or even toddler bed if you needed more space. The condo did have a pack n play which was not advertised but was a nice feature if you need it. The twin bedroom has a kit that you can merge the beds into a king which was nice to have. The twin beds aren’t very comfortable but my toddler didn’t care. The master bed was the complete opposite. Some of the best seep my husband and I have had on a vacation. Very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. But we didn’t eat dinner there so we didn’t need a whole lot. The only other utensil that would be nice is a pair of scissors. Also the garbage disposal had no switch to turn on so it had a little bit of a smell, but maybe we are crazy and just couldn’t find it. The refrigerator didn’t have a filtered water/ ice feature but they had plenty of ice cube trays. But if you are packing a cooler you will probably need a bag of ice. The kitchen had a keurig and a coffee machine, blender, toaster, microwave, oven, pretty much all the necessities. The house had 4 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards and a very small bucket of toys for the beach. The 2 adult bikes were really nice to have. We never used the back patio area which I thought we would but it was pretty dirty and looked like it hadn’t been swept or cleaned in a while. But we also came a week after the tropical storm rolled through. The house is a few minute drive away to the beach, or an easy bike ride/ walk to the dunes house beach access. Overall it was perfect for our family! Not a super fancy shmancy place, but we definitely enjoyed our time at this villa. We would stay here again!
Our family of five enjoyed our stay. The area around the home was beautiful and very quiet. It was decorated nicely and the beds were very comfortable. The bathtub did not drain well which wasn’t ideal with a toddler. Also, we were unable to use the oven because while preheating it filled with smoke though it did look clean. Proximity to the beach was great (we drove a few times and parking was no issue) and my kids loved walks to the general store. We were unimpressed by the size and cleanliness of the pools. So much so that we bought passes to swim at the Omni hotel. Because of the pools, we would not book again if traveling with our kids.
Very familiar with area. Owned a condo there and then a home on the island. Older condos but this one was in great shape inside. Location was good but outdoor area was claustrophobic, basically a walled box, and in poor shape. Not owners fault as outdoor areas maintained by their regime
Paid for late checkout and I have the housecleaning people here at 12 asking when are we leaving. The patio area was not cleaned there were sandwiches left under the chairs which we didn't touch. The area is lovely and short walk to the beachand everything here to make you feel at home but the rushed feeling at the end makes me 2nd guess staying again.
We should have stayed longer! This condo is in the perfect location. There is so much to do just in the area of the condo - beautiful bike rides and walks about the community, good restaurants, and a private beach. Not far from Shopping areas. The condo had everything you needed - shower towels, beach towels and chairs, and 2 bikes for you to use. Will definitely be back and recommend it for couples and families. Really a perfect location- such a cute condo!
It was great long weekend. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely go back.
Wonderful place to stay for a family of 6. The unit was well decorated and organized. We loved the amenities, specifically the in-unit washer and dryer! We encountered some minor problems initially, such as missing a couple kitchen items (kitchen scissor, cutting board and blender), and AC not working properly, but these were taken care of immediately upon our request! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again!
We spent a week at another property at Palmetto Dunes and decided to extend our stay and chose this property. What a difference a Reno makes! Palmetto does have some dated units so it was a pleasant surprise. Everything was newly painted and decorated, fresh and bright and welcoming. The main room is a good size for a group of 3-4. There was great attention to detail compared to other units we stayed in - from dishwashing soap, stocked paper towels to two bikes to use during your stay. There’s a small backyard patio which gets a good amount of sun. Really appreciated the late checkout option and it was really inexpensive, thank you. Really lovely unit and a relaxing place to relax after a busy day. Loved it! A few minor suggestions for the owners - there is no screen door on the back, it would be nice to be able to open the sliding doors to the deck for fresh air. We had some difficulty figuring out the overhead lights in the bedrooms so instructions may be helpful. I know this is a property wide issue but the cleaners routinely come by before the 10am checkout. I had a late checkout and I had to keep reminding them I ordered a 2pm. I think they came by 7-8 times and it got a bit annoying (but I understand they have a job to do).
