The lushly landscaped grounds are immaculately maintained and adorned with red ginger and red palms. Canal Repair Project Notice:
Papakea Resort will undergo a canal repair project from December 17, 2025 through mid-September 2026. Work will take place Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Guests may experience significant construction noise during these hours. Equipment and materials will be staged along the canal, resulting in limited parking in some areas. Holiday work is not expected.

    I searched based on 1. The view from the Balcony and 2. Price and A/C 3. Modern Kitchen and Bathroom. Their balcony views are closer to the ocean and pool than you can tell from the online photos. I was so impressed by the view and the amount of space out on it!! I read one review that said the AC was too far away to work in the bedroom, but we turned it off when gone and it still cooled things off fast. So, I disagree with that review about it not working. Another review said the bedroom is small. It is not wide enough for two nightstands. My suggestion would be to move the nightstand to the closet side of the bed. That would give everyone better access to use the closet to store some of their luggage and make it easier to pull out all the beach goodies they provide. As it is right now, you can hardly open the closet sliding doors. There are plenty of drawers (9) for clothes in the bedroom. I packed all 3 of my suitcases into one and rolled it down the side of the bed to make it into a nightstand for that side of the bed. That kept the luggage out of the way, too. The pool, hot tub and lawns were beautiful. Parking was never a problem. Nice restaurant next door to the south. I would definitely go back to that exact condo, K306. (2 guests, 7 nights in early/mid April, 2025, active 70 year-olds) Other suggestion would be to have a card telling everyone the dining table light and the balcony light are at the end of the Kitchen counter, 3 feet high.

    This was our third stay at Papakea. This was the best unit with a great view of the pool area and Molokai. Room location afforded direct afternoon sun. Previous units were full sun in the afternoon and less enjoyable.Unit was is great shape. Our only complaint would be the bed spring was noisy but not a major concern.Papakea is great location with easy access to restaurants, groceries, and Ka’anapali Beach.

    Nice, low key vibe at this property. Not crowded. Can sit on the lawn all day and look at the ocean. This unit's deck is in the shade all the time so if that's important to you, this is a good one to choose. Easy to walk to restaurants, stores and more. They take great care of the grounds. This was our third stay on the property.

    We picked this in part because I used to live there. Just a couple blocks from where my brother lives, food trucks close. Dukes restaurant is also a short walk loved it thank you so much.

    Overall, we were very pleased with the unit at the Papakei resort. The property is immaculate and is in good shape with only a few issues that are listed below. The listing is accurate and there were no real surprises so you can rest assured what you’re seeing is what you get. A few of the standout positives would be the very nice Weber grills that are provided by the pool that are cleaned daily. Great WiFi, cable and putting green. Very nice staff A few things to point out that could be improved. First is the A/C. It’s small and super loud and doesn’t cool the bedroom so we were hot at night. But will freeze you on the couch. They are missing some very common kitchen items like spatula a set of tongs. The blender also does not have a top so you have to improvise something when making beverages. As other visitors have pointed out, the refrigerator door does not shut very well and is easily left open and takes a concerted effort to make sure it is closed. Needs ice bucket. The master bedroom is very small and does not have luggage stands so your luggage will take up what limited floor space there is. The closet is also full of coolers and chairs so there is limited closet space to put anything on the floor. Most of the closets in the hallway are locked for owners use so there is very little storage there either. I think if you tried to sleep 4 in this unit, you would be very cramped. But overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend this unit Papakea for a couple.

    Papakea is a very well-maintained property. We really like it here. There were some small things, they did not impact our stay, but wanted to share. When items are put in the refrigerator door, the door tends not to close on its own. We didn't realize this our first night and it ended up everything got warm overnight. Luckily we did not have any meat so did not have to toss anything out, but a little sticker or sign about this would help future renters. The fire extinguisher is not accessible due to closet door not able to open all the way. I would re-locate that. An instruction sheet for the bedroom TV would be helpful so that we don't bother the property manager in trying to figure out why we couldn't get any channels. Check light bulbs, one is out in the kitchen. And two more beach towels would have been nice for sitting on the chaise lounge chairs at the pool. This is a nice unit and property and definitely worth staying at. Thank you.

    We have stayed at Papakea in the past and really enjoy it there. The condo was great, the bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was there. The view from the lanai is stunning, we loved eating meals out there and watching whales. It was a great stay!

    Description was not what I expected. We had to walk to another property to access the beach. There no beach access for us at the property
