    I have lived and worked in Steamboat and now come back with my family to have them experience the magic of the Boat. The location is great and the property was cozy and warm with easy access to the mountain, shopping and town. There was plenty of parking and three communal hot tubs. The flooring and countertops have been upgraded recently which was a plus. The down side is, there are more outdated elements than updated. There were some glitches that attentive owners and property managers should be aware of, the key card for the door was expired and didn't work, one of the stove burners does not operate, the shower tile needs some love and there were no sheets for the pull out sofa. These were minor frustrations, except for the lack of sheets, and unfortunately they did not reflect the quality resort experience one would expect from Steamboat.
