Walked in and it smelled of animal urine. Shower curtain was very smelly and need to be replaced or washed.
The day before heading to the resort I received an e-mail from the management company (Grand Welcome) for this property saying they had double booked the room and I would need to stay somewhere else. It was not easy to find a new place to stay. I would not stay at this property until the property manager gets its act together.
When we arrived we spent a stressful hour our so negotiating whether we had a reservation at all. The hotel told us that our reservation had been cancelled. They said that no one from VRBO/Grand Welcome had ever notified them of the reservation. We were able. to resolve it after much back and forth, but not the way to start our trip and we missed our first activity as a result!
