    Pictures don't do this place justice. Corner condo was bigger than we realized. There were a few inconveniences, which were mentioned prior to our stay, so we weren't caught off guard. Unlike every other house I've rented, this house didn't come with beach towels, every day essentials (dish soap, toilet paper, TRASH BAGS, etc) to get past one day. These small purchases for the owner should outweigh the imconvenience for a traveler to load up on these items. Luckily, our friends staying down the hall had plenty to share. Their condo even had beach chairs. The management company was extremely quick to respond, but never really delivered. For example, upon arrival, the floor felt like it had sand on it, so i wanted to sweep/mop. I found a swiffer, but with no pads. I asked them to bring me pads. They responded asking me to buy some and they reimburse me. Of couse I didnt want to go to the store on vacation, so i did without. We had purchased an extendes check out, yet the maod (who didnt speak english) was knocking to clean at the normal check out time. I tried explaining that we wouldnt be leaving until noon, but she stood outside outmr door waiting for us to leave. I contacted the management company and they said they let her know. She continued to wait and randomly knock. Sfter multiple outreaches to the management company (all while trying ro relax on our last morning) she finally stopped trying after 1.5 hours. So, would we probably rent this place again, Probably,

    Our family of 5 had a great time and the property was well maintained. The property manager was very responsive when we had a question or had an issue.

    I have stayed at redfish village earlier this year. A great condo so I knew the location was wonderful!! I was excited when we found this condo available. I read some not great reviews about it but went ahead and booked. Layout of condo was great. 3 beds rooms. 3 full baths. Spacious. I was so excited. First night kids saw a roach in living room. Next night some other friends staying killed one in their room. And the last night there my kids killed one in their bathroom. I just happen to be deathly afraid of roaches so if seeing a few aren’t a big deal for you, this condo will be great. Other than the bugs, accommodations were great. But really hope management gets a hold of the bugs so they don’t get over run. Thanks for the stay! Everything else was absolutely great.

    Just a few minor things that would’ve been helpful- check in- there’s an outside door before you get to the door of the actual unit. We spent 10 min texting & calling to figure out why we couldn’t get in. My daughter finally tried all the codes & got into the outer door. they really should include a few more household items- more than 2 dishwasher packs, salt & pepper, & sugar so you don’t have to buy those things at the store. Master bedroom hears all the traffic on the road- I know you can’t do much about that but it’s something to consider when picking a unit. The tv connection was not good the last day- not sure if it was a satellite issue or not.

    Beautiful property! I have stayed at Redfish Village for over ten years. Would definitely stay here again, but the unit had not been cleaned from the previous tenant when we arrived at 5:00 pm. We then had to leave so that it could be cleaned. We were refunded the cleaning fee which was a nice gesture since the shower stalls were still so dirty that we had to scrub them ourselves. Also, most of the plates that were put back in the cupboard still has old food stuck on them- so we had to wash dishes before we could even use them. We enjoyed our stay- just wished it was cleaner and that we didn’t have to do the cleaning.

    The location, setup, amenities of this condo are A+ However, the condo itself is as filthy! I understand these are rentals bit we’ve been coming to 30A for 6 years and have not stayed in anything this dirty. I’m not talking like the group before us partied too hard and it wasn’t cleaned- I’m talking This place has not been cleaned in months. If I were the owner I would be super disappointed in the cleaning staff. I will say we had trouble accessing the property and the property manager had to let us in and walked in before us and apologized and said this was not up to par and that housekeeping was being sent back over & they credit us like $100. Housekeeping came again and basically wiped down the counters it looked like. I honestly would have left but there was literally nothing available on all of 30A- thrust me I checked. There was visible layers of black dust all over the place. A door with slats that was painted white but you couldn’t even see through the slats bc of the amount of viable dust. Even my 5 year old commented within few minutes of being in there in how dirty it was. There were dirty sheets wodded up in a ball in the closet that were not removed. There was hair all over the bathrooms & one of the shower walls. One of the toilet seats had Urine on it. The walls were visibly dirty throughout and need to be wiped down or repainted. I sent pictures of all of this to management hoping maybe it would be cleaned better when they came back but again it looked like walls were just wiped down. There’s no broom or working vacuum in the place. I’m fairly certain it hasn’t been mopped in months bc our feet would be black on the bottoms after walking around on the floors. This place has so much potential - you can be the location or view and the amenities were great but it’s pretty bad when even a 5 year old comments on the filth.

    This is a very nice 4th floor corner unit. Love the private breezeway. we had a great time staying in this unit. condo was super clean when we arrived. had to call mgmt one time and there were very accommodating. if you are traveling to Blue Mountain Beach and are looking to stay at a great property please check out red fish village. the local pool on the property is nice and the beach is just a short walk away. My only complaint, would have been nice if the beach chairs were included with this unit as other units we have rented in the past at Redfish have all included. other than that no other complaints and we had a great stay!

    Best location of condo in Redfish Village. Good views. So close to incredible beaches. Walkable for the kids! Pools GREAT! Playground is GREAT! Creamery across the street…GREAT! Unit could be cleaner. Needs an update and refresh. The management company provides you with just one roll of paper towels, one roll of TP for each bathroom and 2 dishwasher pods for 7 days. So be sure to shop on the way in! Overall - great trip and experience! Will go back!
