Trails End is going to be undergoing construction starting when the Base of Peak 9 closes for the 24/25 ski season. Once closed, Trails End's hot-tubs and sauna will be shut off, and they will block the rear entrance of the building for a major remodel. The closure will likely take place from mid-April to December. The HOA tells us that noise may occur through the complex while they work.

The Upper Village Pool Complex is scheduled to close September 14th and reopen November 21st.

    Overall the stay was really good. The location to the lifts was very accurate and easy! The condo was small but just as described so we anticipated that and it was myself and my husband only so it worked. The reason for not giving 5 stars is the first night we didn't have heat or a fire place that was working. We had to call the after hours emergency line and they got some heat so we weren't freezing. They came out the next day for the fire place but by that night it was broke again. The pilot light would not stay on therefore the fireplace would not turn on. So the place was cold again. The maritenance man showed us how to turn the pilot light back on. So the rest of the trip we had to turn it on ourselves to have heat.. they had to order a part to fix it so it was not here during our stay.

    This could have been a 5-star rating because the location was great, and the rooms were well kept, but I had the worst sleep on vacation. The heaters didn't work which the facilities team resolved with portable heaters but I had to listen to the heaters running the entire stay. Not only did the heaters keep me awake but there sounds of knocking and tapping kept me awake most of the night every night. It was kind of exhausting. Also, a stranger entered the room but luckily I was there. Vacations are supposed to be relaxing but I just couldn't relax in this place.

    Couldn’t have asked for a better location to downtown as well as being able to ski in and out from Peak 9.The condo itself served our needs perfectly. Our only issue was that the pilot light did not stay lit and therefore we were unable to utilize the ambiance of the fireplace. The property management team was quick to send mainentence to attempt to fix, however it went out again shortly after. All that aside, would book again.

    We had a great stay. It was a convenient location to walk to town and the slopes! The heater was out for 2 days, and the maintenance guy came in multiple times to start the fireplace. The property manager was great and very responsive when we couldn't figure out the heat. It just so happened to be one of the coldest weeks in Colorado!

    This unit has been updated. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the new shower is very nice. Key pickup/drop off is at a convenient location next to the gondola parking lot. I’ll be happy to stay here again on another ski trip.
