We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back soon.
We were delighted with the appearance of the condo on arrival. It is very new, with excellent appliances and tons of space. As we got to settling in, though, issues began popping up with startling frequency. The floors had a sticky film, and much of the floor also had a black substance that could not be seen unless you walked on it in white socks. Bath towels were terribly stained (appeared to be that same black substance). The kitchen stove top hadn't been cleaned from the last use. The keurig was nasty and a lot of coffee grinds wound up in the cup because of lack of regular cleaning. No clocks worked so we had to replace the batteries. Two of the three barstools were very dangerous to use due to missing bolts, one of which was found on the floor. Though it wasn't a cleaning issue, and the condo description did mention stairs, we would not have even chosen the condo, as beautiful as it is, due to the actual number of stairs. Climbing 30 steps (and steep ones at that) several times a day for a 65 and a 70 year old became problematic. It would be more than helpful if a warning about that were included in the description. This issue, though, was not raised with the owners as it was somewhat described and we should probably have asked for more information about the steps before renting. The owners suggested they refund the unused days we had contracted for, to which we agreed, and moved out. Surprisingly, we were charged a cleaning fee after all of that.
The house was perfect for us! The master closet has air vents and is large enough for a pack and play for toddler/baby! We look forward to staying again in the future!
We use the space for a bachelorette party. It is about 30 minutes from the comel river entry. We absolutely adored this property. Absolutely gorgeous from the outside and in perfect space for friends and family. Perfect for everything in new Braunfels.
We enjoyed our stay at the barndo. It's really cute and clean. The location is beautful and the hosts were friendly, prompt, and professional. Would stay again!
Only reason for the 4 star review is because it was very visible that they had not swept or mopped prior to us getting there. Bugs, trash, rose petals, & goldfish were some of the things that I swept once we were checked in. Other then that the property looks and is exactly like the listing.
Check in was easy. Clean, open, nice theme. Nice view from kitchen and bdrm windows. Beds were super comfy. Walk in shower had plenty of room. The only minor complaint would be the kitchen/ living room gets warm during the day, and the rooms remain ice cold. My wife loved how cold the rooms were and the peaceful nights. I liked the industrial like look.. with the support beams. We would come back.
It was a very clear and nice place, everything was close by.I highly recommend this place I will definitely be staying there again in the future.the apartment had everything and it was very well kept and clean..
Enjoyed our stay in this modern and unique space in the Texas Hill Country. Plenty of room for 4 adults to relax and visit in open concept living room/kitchen area and deck space out front. Bedrooms were comfortably equipped with fans and large closet spaces. Not hard to access Whitewater Amphitheater from here, just watch out for deer in this area.
Decorated very simply and delightful. Beds were comfortable. Appliances are all fairly new.
