Nice condo, peaceful surroundings, comfortable beds. Unfortunately when we arrived we discovered the exterior of the condo was under construction, complete with a port-a-potty and piles of construction debris. I wish someone had told me this beforehand! In addition, the title of the listing referred to AC but there is no AC - and sadly we had a September heatwave. Again, this goes to the accuracy of the listing. The last straw was opening up kitchen cabinets to pull out dishes and glasses that had not been washed and featured lipstick on wine glasses and greasy plates. I've never written a bad review before, but when I contacted the renting team about these things they apologized but offered no other amends. It's too bad, because Vacasa was really on the ball with their communication. I just don't think they could affect what was happening on site. Summary: nice place, but check ahead of time about construction before you book (don't just go by the listing).
The listing said it had AC and it did not. The management company knew this and left the listing up anyway and had the nerve to charge us for the night. Should not be in the real estate business.
A great place to stay but advertised as central ac and there was no ac. It was a wet and sticky week and ac would have been welcome. In the high heat and humidity of the summer, it would have been unbearable! Also, the cable tv connection was very spotty in the upstairs room. Often no connection at all. we should have called them sooner about it....they did offer to come out and take a look at the cable.
The condo was cozy and clean. We enjoyed it very much.
My sister, friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The home was clean, had everything we needed, and was near to Quechee and Woodstock, VT. It is located up in the hills, but was an easy drive. Would highly recommend this home!
