The Space:

Pleasenote, there will be construction work happening on the ground floor of Salt House from the 23rd April until the end of June. This will result in noise from equipment from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Drills, saws and concrete cutting equipment will be restricted from 9am - 5pm. Schedules will vary, and all guests will be notified of specific work 24 hours in advance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

With only 3 apartments in the building, all located on one floor, it is extremely quiet and private.



We are perfectly located within walking distance to downtown, great restaurants & bars, coffee shops & supermarkets. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, and the stunning bathroom is stocked with Rocky Mountain Soap Co body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Luxury hotel linens and brand new high-end mattresses complement the chic bedrooms, and ensure a great night's sleep. This apartment is perfectly suited to families or groups of friends. If you are a group needing more than one unit, talk to us about a group booking for all three.

The Neighborhood:

2nd Ave lies just off the main access road in and out of Canmore. The condo is perfectly placed for quick access by road to hiking and skiing in Banff National Park. Within a 5 minute walk you can enjoy the amazing French pastries at Le Fournil, an incredible meal at Ankor (downstairs) or Crazyweed Kitchen, or grab some freshly roasted coffee to take home from Eclipse Roastery. Supermarkets are a 5 minute walk, and downtown Canmore with its shopping and restaurant scene is a 10 minute walk from the condo.



Getting Around:

Local Roam transit is free, check the timetables in the condo. There are connections to Banff and Lake Louise via Roam if you don't fancy driving. We recommend taking public transit to and from Banff if you are only planning on a trip to the town itself. Otherwise a car is useful, or hook up with one of the many tour companies offering to take you to the sights in the park itself.

    We had a great time at this property! Looked just like the listing. I think it was the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Having the washer and dryer was so nice especially with all the hiking!

    We spent the better part of a week at Salt House this April. We loved the space, views of the mountain, and that it was a short walk from groceries. We’ve stayed at many places in Canmore, and this was our best condo yet.

    From the beginning of our one day stay to departure we enjoyed our stay. We surprised a friend for his birthday and enjoyed Banff and Canmore on surprise day! Loved the views the heated towel rack was a great surprise. Would definitely recommend

    This is a beautiful 2nd floor (top floor) apartment in a convenient location. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with essentials. There is lots of room to spread out including a cute reading nook with comfy chairs. The dedicated parking spot is wonderful as parking in Canmore can be difficult to find. We would stay here again.

    This property was centrally located, quiet and peaceful, with all the amenities. The decor was lovely and tasteful, and the hosts thought of everything. I would highly recommend this property to others.
