THE UNIT:

Beautiful 3,000 sqft+ luxury condo with dual balconies that have an additional 800+ sqft of space overlooking the ocean waves AND the sunset! YES a double balcony!! The largest in Daytona Beach!

Ocean Vistas is a world class private residential condominium building. From the moment you walk into this unit you will immediately notice the attention to detail in every room.

As you walk through the french door entry to your left is a small half bath powder room and to your right the elegantly designed master bedroom with customized furniture, king bed, office desk, a large smart tv with cable, and his/her walk in closets with complete closet organization systems. Attached to the master bedroom is a private balcony entrance and exit as well as a private master bathroom that Is complete with his/her vanities, a large all in shower, and a garden tub.

Walking out of the master bedroom takes a right and you will walk underneath a beautiful rotunda ceiling. The floorplan splits here; to your right takes you to the beautifully decorated family room and to your left will take you to the back bedrooms and past a small dining area overlooking the gourmet chef's kitchen and the sunset balcony entrance.

Bedroom #2 straight in the back is the second master suite with a king size bed, double closets, dresser, smart tv, private bath with a walk in shower, and large windows with shutters that allow a beautiful view of the river with a sunset backdrop in the evening.

Bedroom #3 is located down the same hall as #2 and inside are two double beds with a smart tv, walk-in closet, dresser, and private bath with a shower/tub combo.

As you walk from the back bedrooms out toward come into the gourmet chefs kitchen that is complete with a Cafe wall oven, microwave, and fridge as well as an electric Care induction stove top & range, as well as a 57 bottle wine cooler perfect for any beverage. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you would need to cook a perfect dinner for yourself or your family. Greeting you in the kitchen will be a few coffee pods, cream, & sugar.

The kitchen is an open floor plan with bar seating on either side. From the kitchen you can overlook the gorgeous family room as well as a picture perfect view of the ocean through the floor to ceiling sliding glass door/windows. The family room features another small dining area as well as a large couch with two chairs situated around a smart tv with an awesome view of the ocean from every angle.

Out on the ocean-view balcony is a small dining set as well as additional outdoor furniture seating for the whole family. On the sunset balcony is a Elite Fyre electric grill, A Polywood bar with seating for four and two Polywood Adirondack chairs set up to enjoy the beautiful Florida sunset with the international speedway / river back drop.

*** OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ***

Minimum age: 25 - (this means the primary renter needs to be over 25)

1. Being transparent as possible -- Instead of charging a high security deposit or having you pay a non-refundable fee to VRBO for their coverage (which is not enough coverage) we have sought out a higher limit 3rd party coverage for incidentals. Our cost is $145 and is marked as an admin fee. This covers you for the vast majority of incidental damage to the unit that could happen. This solves two things. 1. We do not have to collect a huge security deposit from you. 2. More importantly it solves the damage claim process which VRBO had traditionally made hosts aim their damage claim at the guest first seeking payment before they would step in and pay. We wanted to ensure every guest was covered for both minor an major oops without having to deal with the hassle and coverage limitations set forth by VRBO.

LATE CHECK IN FEE:
This fee is charged for after hours arrivals. We just pass the charge on to the guest.

PARKING:
~ ONE garage spot with 7ft clearance guaranteed.
~ ONE garage access pass to the first come first serve spots in the lower garage (6'7ft) for a second vehicle (If the complex is full parking for a second vehicle may not be available)
~ If your vehicle does not fit in the garage you will have to find other parking accommodations.
~ NO THIRD VEHICLES.
~ NO TRAILERS.
~ NO OUTDOOR PARKING ON SITE.

KEYS OR KEY FOBS:
If lost or damaged are $75 to replace.

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provided a starter kit of household items; A few trash bags, laundry pods, dish detergent pods, toilet paper rolls, and one roll of paper towels. Once ours is gone it is the guest’s responsibility to purchase the things they need. This owner also supplies each guest with a few coffee pods/creamer as well as a small bottle of hotel style shampoo, conditioner, body soap per bath.

HOUSE RULES:

1. Smoking is NOT allowed at all inside the condominium or on the balconies. Caught doing either will result in a $500 fine. (Smoking can be done out front of the building)

2. You MUST follow the checkout instructions in the binder given to you prior to checking out of your unit.

3. Do not hang anything over the balcony railings.

4. Wash the sand off of you and your beach belongings prior to coming up to the unit.

5. Be kind, courteous, and respectful of all staff, owners, and other rental guests staying.

6. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.

7. The amenities such as the pool and fitness center cannot be used after 10pm. Breaking this rule can result in the condo association overruling me and asking a guest to leave.

8. Please do not do drugs or bring drugs into the unit. (This will result in an automatic termination of your stay).

9. Please do not take the towels or pillows with you. (Yes people do this)

10. If you break something please notify us right away you have damage insurance that protects us both.

11. One week before check in you will receive an email with all of your check in information as well as a couple documents to fill out.

12. You will be given a 15-20 minute tour upon arrival. This is so you know your way around the building and do not get lost.

13. You cannot have additional guests in the building or using the amenities that are not on your registration document. (This will get you removed from the building)

14. Parking is two spots. One reserved spot in the garage and one unreserved spot in the garage. (unreserved spots are limited) No outdoor parking available.

15. Checkout is 10am.

16. You will need to fill out a parking registration form as well as a standard short term lease agreement with us after booking prior to check in that will be sent via email.

    Condo is very nice. High end appliances. A few things to note:1. Master bedroom only has a thin sheer curtain. If you like a dark room to sleep or don’t want to wake up when the sun rises may want to consider something else. 2. There is only one parking spot in the garage that is guaranteed. There is overflow in the lower garage but if those are taken there are no other parking options. While this only may be a problem during busy times of the year (ie July 4th) it would be a big problem as there is no other options aside from street parking or a parking garage at the airport (from what I was told). This is listed in the description but was unaware there were no other options if the garage was full. No parking in front of condo. 3. Some issues: area of floor not clean- this was corrected quickly. Secondary bathroom shower curtain was covered in mold. This was replaced but took 2 days.3. Beds are not amazing - seem old. Personal preference. 3. We had a problem with the balcony being closed unexpectedly while we were there. This required all patio furniture being moved INTO the unit. We were offered to leave and get refund or stay and get discount. However discount was not clear- stated 25% off your stay yet once we checked out found out it was only 25% the room rate for the affected nights- seemed a bit misleading. Lucas did try to make it right but in the end it wasn’t what was offered in the original message which was disappointing.

    Came in right after Hurricane Milton which hit Daytona days before causing some damage to Daytona. We arrived, and host worked with us on weather related issues to make sure our stay was good. Condo is safe, beautiful and spacious with two separate outside decks with a great view. We plan to stay again.

    We arrived at our unit 4 days before Hurricane Milton. We planned for 5 days but with the weather deteriorating the closer to our departure time we contacted Lucas as to our options. Given the structure and design of the building, we felt this was as safe a place as any to ride out the storm. Lucas and his staff arrived early to secure the property. When the storm hit, Lucas remained in communication with us in spite of his own house flooding. The other owners in this complex were wonderful as well. The unit itself is unbelievable. Thanks Lucas, I feel like I made a friend and a new place to stay while in Daytona.

    In general, Ocean Vistas is one of the best places to stay in Daytona, and I would definitely stay in this unit again on a future trip to Daytona. The condo was very well appointed and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The balcony furniture was extremely comfortable, the bathroom shower heated up well, and the water pressure was great. The towels were oversized and soft. The kitchen was well stocked. I loved the plates and utensils! There was even a styrofoam cooler in the pantry that came in handy when my husband and I prepared food to take to the beach to eat with our kids. The layout of the condo worked well. Our teens enjoyed having their rooms on the opposite side of where we were. Best of all, everyone had their own bathroom. I also loved the convenience of having a storage rack with hooks right outside the condo to keep our beach towels, flip flops, and other sandy items. We had a lovely stay.
