Portofino Island Resort #5-1403 Resort Amenities

Would not book through Southern Vacation Rentals again. The condo was dirty when we arrived and when we tried to call we were put on hold indefinitely and finally just hung up. They show up on check out day right at 9:00am, so earlier than most hotels. Book straight through Portofino and you will be better off!

I was asked to leave a credit card on file at check-in for incidentals & then received $150 worth of extra fees for amenities!! That should have been disclosed during the reservation process. ?

Location was great, not to far from restaurants, easy access to the beach. Property was nice only things I may change would be more comfortable living room furniture and master bedroom tv would not work. Property was very clean loved the balcony views. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

The condo was great with views of the intercoastal and the gulf.

the unit did not have soap or a blow dryer. there's a washer dryer but no laundry detergent. we also had to checkout but 9am which was ridiculous and had i known that, we would not have paid for that last night.

Overall good! Clean, great view! Loved the unit. Television/cable/tv’s not up to par. Padding on mattress was extremely hot-not breathable fabric-sheets and quilt and overall decor were nice and clean and simple. Master shower was not hot or strong.

My wife and her parents stay here for 4 nights and love our experience in Pensacola. Having the resort store and restaurants on site was incredibly convenient, and we made good use of the kitchen facilities and in-unit laundry. Our daytime family visitors were also welcome to park on site and use the pool with us which was great. This resort is a little further drive, but we liked the seclusion and the beach area wasn’t busy at all. Just be prepared to buy/bring your own trash bags, paper towels, shampoo, and toilet paper.

Weather didn’t allow us on the beach much. Unit had a refrigerator that didn’t get cold enough. Beautiful balcony had rusted uncomfortable furniture. Check out was for 9:00 AM. That is ridiculously early. Would not stay in this unit again. Thanks.

Great location at the end of Pensacola Beach. Liked being in tower 5 because it was just a quick walk across the road to the beach. Gorgeous views of the Gulf, sunset, moon, and Santa Rosa Sound. The sound of the crashing waves is a gift for a poor sleeper. Would want to be on this side of the tower again. Unit needs some attention to the rug in the living room which is horribly stained and appeared to have not been vacuumed. Master bathroom has rugs under the sinks which are dirty and one is ready for the trash. Kitchen needs a better look through the cupboards as we found greasy fry pans. Finally....how about a new broom. Couldn't clean up very well due to the condition of the brooms. Otherwise we loved the place and would come back again. Just get a new broom and get rid of the rugs!

Wonderful property next to the gulf National seashore. Great amenities for the price, mostly residents/owners, and everyone was very friendly. Property was clean with a great view. Would definitely recommend.
