Poipu Sands 423 Centrally Located By Suite Paradise

This rental was a perfect island vacay condo loaded with all the amenities, kitchen necessities and appliances to make it a home away from home. Very spacious with a private master suite & bathroom upstairs and 2nd bedroom & bathroom along with kitchen, living room and dining area downstairs Bonus features were a balcony up & downstairs, beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards along with included access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Saving this rental on our list for sure!

They had to change our property after we got there because the sofa couch was FULL of silverfish and other little bugs. It was horrific when we thought we didn’t have a place to stay. But they made it right and we had lovely clean place.

My husband and I have enjoyed a variety of condos in Poipu over the years…this one has been the best! Newly renovated, clean, and comes well supplied with beach chairs, etc. There are high end portable air conditioners in both bedrooms, a definite plus!! Although this unit does not have an ocean view, it does have a nice garden view and is a short walk to both Shipwreck and Poipu beaches. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking forward to staying in Poipu.

Lovely unit with 1 balcony attached to the living room and 1 balcony/alcove attached to the master bedroom. larger than expected, well provisioned and furnished, we very much enjoyed the full kitchen set and washer and dryer in the unit.

The location was excellent; close to the beach and shops. There is an easy walking path through Popiu that is very pedestrian friendly. The condo itself was good but a little dated. There are two lanais in which to sit outside that are very comfortable and relaxing. The beds and bathrooms were good. One disappointing thing was the only cooking items in the condo were salt and pepper. There was no left over tin foil, saran wrap, butter, oil or spices. Only salt and pepper. I like the VRBOs that have a bit more to get you started. This was like a hotel room with a kitchen. The breeze that blows through at night is excellent and makes for great sleeping. Our best things in Poipu • Hiking in Waimea – the single best thing we did; we got lucky with a clear day. Be sure to stop in some of the shops in Waimea and Hanapepe. We really liked the Lilikoi Store. Kauai Coffee Company is only 1-2 miles out of the way and is pretty cool to see as well. • Bobbing in the waves at Poipu Beach in front of the Marriott Waiohai Beach Club. This part of Poipu beach was better than the part by the beach park. We saw a couple of monk seals and a huge turtle on the beach. • Kukui’ula Shopping Center - Kiawe Roots was the best meal we had in Kauai. The food was awesome! Price and portions were great. Highly recommended. - The farmers market on Wednesday afternoons was great. Lot of different vendors selling food to eat right away and good fruits / vegetables for later. • Spouting Horn – this was a throw away to kill time before our flight but we really enjoyed it. The waves, spray and sound are pretty cool and memorizing. Working with the management company was easy and painless. They provided all the information needed and were very professional. Overall, I would give the VRBO a 4.5. It is down from a 5 out of 5 because of no supplies and being a little dated.

We enjoyed our stay, poipu is perfect for families with small children. Condo was big so lots of room to relax and move around for a busy toddler. The king size bed was extremely uncomfortable I would recommend they replace it. Condo a bit out dated but had everything we needed. Kauai is a beautiful place, we will definitely be coming back sone day.

Suite Paradise is a wonderful property management company that provided detailed instruction, nice staff, and support if needed. In terms of the unit itself, it was very clean, and had almost all the essentials we needed for our stay. The unit is very quiet, family orientated, and the large square footage allowed the 4 of us ample space to move around and have our own down time at the end of our touring days. As an added bonus, both bedrooms have their own ensuites which was a pleasant surprise. In unit laundry also allowed us to dry towels in between beach or pool times which we appreciated, because air drying time in the humidity took too long. Aside from our wonderful accommodations, we just need to note that this unit didn't come with beach chairs, or items (such as boogie boards/sand toys) for guests. We did however, purchase these, and are hopeful they'll be utilized by upcoming guests.
