Stayed Feb 5, 2026This was our second year staying in this condo and it felt like home. Perfect location with everything you could need! I almost don't want to review it because I want it to be available next time we want to come up. ;pLove the cozy fireplace and extra blankets; combined with the sauna and hot tub just down the hall, it's the perfect place to warm up after a day on the slopes (and believe me, it was cold this weekend with a high of 7 on Saturday). The only thing I'd change is the pull out sofa, which seems to slope backwards. However, it works for the kids just fine! The host was remarkably kind when we asked for a late checkout, even allowing us to stay an extra night if we wanted since it wasn't rented! (We couldn't because we had to get back to school, but it was wonderful to pack up at 3pm after skiing instead of early in the morning before skiing all day.)Thanks for another awesome long weekend at Snowshoe!

Stayed Jun 20, 2025Thus was an awesome rental. But the kindness and communication of the host was by far the best. It was like staying at home.

Stayed Jan 27, 2025My wife and I have a great time at Snowshoe for the mid week. There was plenty of snow and the place place as described. Wonderful location with the snow at our backs and the village below our balcony. Would love to stay there again.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024Provide more than 1.5 rolls of toilet paper, or let your guests know they need to bring some of their own. Provide more than 2 sets of low-end towels, and include a bathmat. (Sure, was in the email that we could rent more for $5 per set. Which Motel 6 doesn't do. They just give you all you want. At no extra charge.) Experienced VRBO users might already know to do these things, but those used to staying in corporate-owned suites at premium properties may need some newbie prep. Next time, I'll do my homework about events scheduled on the property before booking a stay. That's on me, not the owner. But if the venue is going to be overwhelmed by a concert, convention, or, in this case, GNCC 2024, perhaps advise the booking guest that another weekend might be preferable if the idea was to get away in the off season for a bit of mountain peace and quiet. All in all, we made the best of it and had a great time, and we met a lot of drunk, rowdy, but fun and polite (for the most part) young dirt bike types. An adventure, shall we say. As always, caveat emptor.
