Pili Mai Family Fun Condo, AC, Game Room, 2 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath, Sleeps 6

This property was perfect for our first time to Kaua’i. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. They thought of everything we could need from beach towels, beach chairs, and games to keep us entertained. Every morning we would sit on the back lanai with our coffee and talk to the roosters and chickens that came to visit. It was hard to not feed them! The owners daughters own a small bakery called Outer Bakes. We ordered some absolutely delicious treats from them before we arrived. They were nice enough to deliver and leave the items in the condo so they were there when we arrived!! I would recommend doing the same if you stay there. Kevin, the owner, was very friendly and quick to respond if we had any questions. Overall an excellent property owned by a wonderful local family.

This condo was perfect for our family’s needs. It was clean, quiet, nicely appointed and beautiful inside and out. We cooked our meals in the well outfitted kitchen. There were also beach chairs, a cooler and various water toys for kids available in the game room. Kevin was quick to respond very helpful with any questions we had.

Spacious and clean condo with all the modern conveniences. So nice to be able to cook and do laundry! Enjoyed using the boogie boards. Quiet and safe location, our family of 4 loved it! Make sure you check out the turtles and monk seals at Poipu Beach (wear adequate water shoe/flippers as the rocks can be sharp). Thank you for a lovely stay! Mahalo! 💞

The pictures do not do this place justice. The villa is so spacious with everything you could ever need in it plus more! The game room was such a lovely addition for our rainy days. So wonderful, wish we had more time here.

I would stay here again without hesitation! Beds were comfortable! Kitchen was clean! We were bummed the hot tub was closed, but it is a community one so they have no control over that. I would recommend this place to any of my friends heading to Kauai!

This space was very homey and fit our family of four quite nicely. The kitchen couldn’t be more well stocked if they tried. You could make and plate food for 20 if you wanted! The patio is nice to enjoy in the morning and watch the chickens while the sun rises. We were able to wash off our muddy hiking gear and sandy beach things using the hoses, keeping the mess out of the house. The pool deck was under construction so the pool space wasn’t as comfortable as we’d have preferred, but maintenance has to happen at some point. The unit’s central AC isn’t working, but the portable units and the natural breeze kept things pleasant. Felt very safe, and definitely not full of tourists.

Host was welcoming. We enjoyed the location on the island, it was also close to the pool and beach was an easy walk.Place was clean. Could have had a little more toilet paper on hand, we got close to running out. We would definately return. Loved the special beach towels. A favorite place to stay.

We loved our stay! We are a family of 6, 2 adults, 3 teens and 1 child. Kevin & Angela were so welcoming and they went above and beyond. If (when) we visit Kauai again, this is where we will stay.

Great place! Super clean, great location and close to all things in Poipu and Kōloa. We cooked our own meals all week and the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed and including spices. Beds were comfortable and it was another perfect week in paradise!

We had such a great stay! The location was super convenient—close to Starbucks and shopping centers, with Walmart about a 25–30 minute drive away. Poipu Beach was only a quick 6-minute drive, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet.The house itself was beautiful and really comfortable. The central AC and little fans in each room were amazing after being out in the heat. Both main bedrooms had their own full bathrooms, plus there was a half bath near the laundry room, which was super handy. I also loved having a laundry room so we could wash clothes and towels during the trip. We even had our own designated parking spot, which made things easy.The host was so kind and responsive—they went out of their way to fix the small issue we had and even left us a fresh loaf of bread from their bakery, which was beyond sweet. Everything in the home was clearly labeled and easy to find.Would definitely stay here again!

We loved having the option of preparing meals in such a well equipped kitchen. The grills are very close too!We were close to the pool as well, which we really enjoyed on the days we weren’t exploring the island!

Such a beautiful home from when you enter and throughout! Extremely spacious, every appliance you could possibly need, dry goods in the pantry, game room was fun! Pool right across the driveway like walking distance, one problem there was is the water to the whole house shut completely off twice. Owner took good care of us and fixed the problem immediately with an app on his phone. Turns out it was a water safety feature that turned on and closed the water lines but the owner detached the system and even brought us a bag of baked goods! It didn't ruin our stay at all, we still had an amazing weekend! Going back in October!

Mahalo! We had a wonderful vacation with friends in Kauai. The condo's layout is nice, offering space and privacy. The kitchen is well-appointed. There is a Keurig and a carafe coffee pot. We enjoyed the walk to Little Fish Coffee for açai bowls, bagels, and an affordable bag of ground coffee. The condo has a bounty of beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, pool noodles, and snorkel gear. We enjoyed the pool and property grounds after a day at the beach. Having A/C is a definite plus if you're visiting in the summer months. There were plenty of fans too. We liked being close to Poipu Shopping Village and an easy walk to the beach. Kevin was excellent with communication and instructions.We look forward to visiting again!

Everything was as we expected, beautiful, clean comfortable place on the beach. Easy to walk and access shopping, restaurants, parking, comfortable home to relax in. Hope to go back!

This condo was prefect for our family, our young boys especially loved the game room. The whole house was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, the mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable and it’s very close to the pool. The communication leading up to our trip was great and check-in/condo instructions were very easy. They had everything in stock for us to enjoy the island beaches; towels, blankets, beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, sand toys and even snorkeling gear for kids and adults. With all of this alone we would have been happy enough and we will definitely try and stay here again next time we make it to Kauai. Unfortunately we were also there during the Tsunami warning. We were on Poipu beach when the Tsunami sirens started going off. The maps online showed the condo in a tsunami safe area however when we got back to the condo we were told we had to be evacuated in an hour. I called Kevin (in a slight panic) not really knowing what to do at this point. He got back to me immediately invited us up to his house, which was much more than I was expecting. We spent the evening at their home their his family and our boys got to play and relax. They even served us dinner! They really went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful to their whole family. If it weren’t for their kindness we would have been stuck in a parking lot for 4 hours with hungry/scared kids. Instead this was one of our kids favorite nights. Truly incredible hosts!

We stayed in Kevin's condo for 4 nights on Kauai. It is one of the nicest VRBOs we've ever rented. The condo is spacious with a comfortable king bed. It's quiet and close to world-class beaches (snorkel with turtles if you get a chance). Kevin is responsive and helpful. The checkin process was simple with all necessary info communicated in a single here are your keys email. I highly recommend Kevin's condo.

Their home is well appointed... the best stocked kitchen I have ever rented and we travel a lot!My family enjoyed the location of the condo/home, the pool and hot tub and of course the beautiful spacious interior. Super comfortable condo! We loved having such a great kitchen with all the appliances, everything you needed was provided. The property was very spacious and conveniently located near the pool and bbq area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again.

My husband and I stayed with his parents here and absolutely loved our experience! The kitchen was well stocked, rooms were comfortable and we were to close to everything we wanted to do on the island! This place is perfect for families, we will absolutely book this place again on our next trip!

Kevin (the host) was very accommodating with our unique travel needs. The place was spacious, clean and provided lots of games, puzzles and beach items. Location was great, very short drive to the beach and to delicious resturants. We would definitely book this place again.

The condo is beautifully maintained, is decorated with local art and objects, and was exceptionally clean. The grounds of Pili Mai are gorgeous with all kinds of flowering shrubs. The beds were comfortable and the pool and gym are close by. We were traveling with our 2 adult sons and each wanted his own bedroom, which led to our one (minor) difficulty: The garage has been converted into a game room with a trundle bed, not a queen-size sofa bed. One of our adult sons slept in the game room, but there is no vent for getting AC into that room and it gets quite warm. We left the door to the game room open at Kevin’s suggestion, and positioned a fan to blow the cool air from the main area into it. It was just tolerable for him to sleep after a hot day. But, we are from Colorado with mostly cool, dry weather, so none of us are used to hot, humid weather—so that contributed to the lack of AC problem. Having 2.5 bathrooms and the use of the washer & drier was VERY helpful. Pool/beach towels are provided and lots of beach gear is available. Overall, a WONDERFUL place to stay for families.

Very happy. Responsive host. Very well equipped, excellent location, clean and well cared for property. Our only 4 start rating Was because we didn’t realize the game room was garage conversion. The room was very well done and well appointed but not good for kiddo sleeping as there is no hvac in the room hot and noisy- especially with the door closed. It may have been described but we missed it. We would highly recommend and would happily stay again. Thanks for hosting!

My family loved this condo. It had everything we needed to go to the beach (towels, beach chairs, even reef-safe sunblock). We did not use the pool but it looked nice.Loved that it was a short walk to a small mall that had nice restaurants and coffee.Absolutely love the surfboard mosaics. I have a feeling they're one-of-a-kind art pieces by the owner.We would stay again!

Everything was wonderful at Kevin’s place. Descriptions in pictures were spot on. Only minor cleanliness issue was the towels smelled like mildew upon arrival. However, thankfully they have a washer and dryer in the condo, so threw a load of towels in the wash to quickly remedy the issue!

Beautiful condo which made us feel at home with its gorgeous art work and comfy couch & beds. Pools and hot tub nicely maintained. Great location. In walking distance to shops, restaurants, and beaches. Hosts were excellent communicators. Would definitely book again.

A very nice two-bedroom condo in Pili Mai. We love the location next to the golf course and close to all things Poipu.

We had a great time. The hosts were so nice and excellent at communication. They have a wonderful property and are so accommodating. We were so impressed to have laundry and dish soap provided as well as a first aid kit and all the beach equipment we could use! So helpful when we had our kids with us on this trip! Would definitely come back and stay again!

Came to attend a conference at Grand Hyatt. Very convenient location with few mins drive from Hyatt. Well maintained property. Plenty of utensils , crockery, cutlery and all small appliances needed in the kitchen. Would recommend it for families.

This property had everything! Everything about this place was amazing. Kevin was a wonderful host and very communicative. The location was great, close to beaches, surfing, attractions, shopping, etc. We had an excellent time! Mahalo Kevin!

I’ve stayed at Pili Mai before and love the units and property. This unit worked for us, but needs some new carpet and updates. Overall a great stay.

Kevin was amazing he was very helpful and easy to get in reach with. his home is very clean and quiet! The pool was a plus at night time with the kids. Close to an amazing breakfast spot because we love açaí. Thank you we would stay 100 times over!

This was a great condo to stay at in the Poipu area. Close to Poipu Beach and a number of other great destinations. The pool area was a great bonus. This place had plenty of space of my family of 5, and since we ate in most meals the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed.

This property has everything you need for your stay. There is a pool and bbqs right near the property. There is more than enough planted, cups, silverware, and it’s on the ground floor with a nice place for family to congregate. There is beach item for you to use and a game room. Perfect for families.

This condo was perfect for our group, super well furnished/appointed, and adorable to boot. Everything we could have possibly wanted during our trip was available from spices to beach towels/toys/chairs/etc to extra linens to tower fans plus ceiling fans. The condo was near the awesome pool, which our kiddo loved. My husband, my son and myself stayed in the primary bedroom and my mom stayed in the other, and it was awesome that both rooms had ensuite bathrooms. 10/10 would stay again!

Good location for access to local beaches, stores etc. Check in was smooth, Kevin had the place ready early so we could drop our bags off. Probably for most people the cleanliness of the property was probably okay, however for us unfortunately it was not. There was a smell that I can’t really describe, maybe coming from the ventilation system unit. It hit you every time you walked in. Overall the place could do with a refresh. The kitchen was well equipped and the gym was close by with a a couple of treadmills. The beds were comfortable. The unit backs onto the main road so it was a little noisy.

Nice new condo project.

This property is much less like a typical rental, and much more like the owners just left for a few days. Other than groceries, we didn’t need anything else. Kindly, the owners left some coffee pods and chocolate to start ☺️ Kitchen is upgraded with any appliance, utensil or cookware you could need. We did use the pool once, it was warm and not crowded. The rental was exactly as described in the listing. Shopping and food is walkable. We drove to the Poipu beach- about 2 miles. Would definitely stay again.

The unit was beautifully decorated with nice touches like seashells hanging down the front entrance sidelight and surfboards adorning colored glass & stones. Very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The location was perfect and our host, Kevin was easy to communicate with, helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Was a great stay.

This place had nearly everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Our 7 and 10 year old really liked the game room, puzzles, books, sand toys, boogie boards, etc. Our teenager enjoyed the patio, living room and experimenting with spices in the kitchen. I was able to find everything needed in a kitchen. It was nice the place had things like bandaids so we didn't have to run to the store for the unexpected. We also enjoyed going to the pool almost everyday as it was close by. Kevin, our host, was also very responsive whenever we had questions. After our daily activities it was nice to go back to the condo, turn on the AC after a hot day, and just relax.

Condo was clean, organized, and in a great location. We didn't use the pool or gym it came with so can't speak to that, but our family would definitely stay again!

Pili Mai has great condos, clean and great pool area. This unit would be really good for families with kids.
