Pierview Unit 205 - Just One More Splash, OBX Oceanfront Condo

Great view, good accommodations, nice people in the condo neighborhood

Find another property. 1-elevator is broken. We were not notified prior to check in. 2-microwave handle broken. 3-ants, ants, ants everywhere. 4- large hole in the bathroom wall. 5-dishwasher falls on the floor when u open it. Mike and Lisa were great and sent in exterminor. Owner (richard) did not return text messages within a reasonable time. When he did text me, he said (sorry). Do not waste your time. All he wants is the money.

Rest and relaxation-just what we needed. We had a great time art Pierview! Great view of the sunrises and the big waves with Huricane Erin offshore.the pool is a nice amenity too!

The view cannot be beat! The check in and check out process was seamless and the owner was responsive. The condo has everything you need and an impressive selection of dvds.

Loved our stay. Perfect location. Right on the beach - loved sitting on our balcony. Only thing was the elevator died every day, requiring us to write in to have them look at it. It died for good on Wednesday - halfway through our stay - which definitely presents some difficulties, going up multiple flights of stairs all day.

Unit is dated, but view is excellent.Stay away as this owner/sponsor has questionable integrity.

Overall, the condo was exactly as described on line. The location and the ocean views from the deck were fabulous. Plenty of dishes, glassware and silverware.

The condo was not clean. The condo was not properly maintained. There were no locks on the windows, no screens on the balcony doors and paper supplies like toilet paper or paper towels would have lasted maybe one day. The so called “host” was non-apologetic. It was clear from the beginning the host only wanted my two thousand plus dollars.The only positive thing this condo offers is a great Property Management.I’ve been coming to OBX for years and never had such an awful experience. I was embarrassed cause I had brought a guest with me. Warning! Do not rent 205 at PierView

Great ocean front condo! PierView ocean front is the best! Great unit with all amenities necessary for a comfortable stay.

The location is amazing! The condo is clean and decorated very well. The plumbing isnt great but the owner responded very quickly to the issue we had. It still needs some attention though.

The views were amazing, great location and very clean.

Owners very responsive. The condo is clean and basic amenities are supplied. Ample parking decent proximity to things to do in nags Head as well as Manteo

It was very good. There were some plumbing issues but we worked around them since a plumber couldn't come until the next day when we were leaving. Other than that everything was fine. Just a note for future renters. You only get one roll of tissue per bathroom, one roll of paper towels and one dishwater pod so you might want to bring extra.

Love the location!

A very pleasant little condo. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, as were the balcony chairs. We spent many peaceful mornings out there drinking our coffees and watching the sunrises and dolphins and listening to the waves. The location was perfect. Right on the beach, directly facing the ocean, just a short walk up the beach to Jeannette's Pier.

Enjoyed our stay. Condo is clean, comfortable and a great location. Oceanfront property, great to watch the ocean from the condo deck. Questions to the property owner are answered promptly. We always enjoy our stay at PierView.

This whole experience has been so needed by me and my wife as she is recovering from a stroke. The condo as well as the amenities were so wonderful plus the community of people in the area were so respectful and helpful. I hope for us to return next year.

Having stayed at the Pierview in the past (different unit) We knew to expect a convenient location and a stunning view of the beach with easy access. The unit was comfortable and had what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. However, a big roach greeted us on the wall the day we checked in (never saw another one), and the tub in the second bath drained very slowly and could use a rodding. The dead bolt didn't work on the outside door (Probably rusty from the sea air). The out of order elevator was inconvenient. Though comfortable, the unit is a bit worn and could use a few upgrades. I also found having to prepay for property damage insurance offputting, never having encountered that before. But it's a great location and a perfect setting for our family's 2 days at OBX.

We enjoyed our visit, especially watching the hummingbirds who visited the feeder on the balcony all day long.
