PI 609: Pelican Penthouse - Experience Top Floor with Breathtaking Views!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was perfect, large spacious and clean with brand new furniture and appliances. The view of the ocean was incredible. You had exceptional views from the living room, kitchen, and even while laying in bed! There is a huge double wide balcony with plenty of seating. Top floor views! The stove, fridge, microwave, washer &dryer were all full sized, new and easy to use! I don't think you'll find a better room in all of Destin!

Nice location. Some things were not to my liking upon check in. Sheets and comforter were not clean. Wads of hair in the bathroom and some tvs were not working. Maintenence did come to address the tvs and new comforter was delivered on day 3 after calling more than once. I would expect things to be more on point especially since check in was supposed to be at 4pm and I called at 5....and they still weren't ready for me to check in. I understand things happen...Was not the worse stay but not the best. I probably would not stay here again.

Beautiful, clean, amazing view. Easy access, easy check in. It was my first time to the area and first VRBO it was a great experience!!

My sisters and I have spent time at Pelicans Isle for 3 or 4 years. We return because the view is beautiful. It is easy and relaxing to negotiate the property. A very short walk to the beach with lovely chairs to sit in. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. On our drive home we plan for the next visit. So we plan to visit pelican Island again next fall. Thank you so much for a lovely venue for us to get together.

Reviewer Comments: Pelican Isle is a great place for beautiful views while spending time with family! 609 unit is in need of a new mattress, it has a huge dip in it and unit needs a cleaning. It is spacious but wouldn’t not stay in this unit again. We do love staying at Pelican Isle and booking with Brooks and Shorey.

One of my favorite things was the share bin at the boardwalk where we could borrow sand buckets, shovels and beach toys each day to play on the beach! When we left, we put our boogie boards in the bin for the next family to enjoy. What a fantastic idea! Thank you!
