Phoenix West, Lazy River, Beachfront, New Rental!!

Beautiful location and clean and comfortable accommodations.

The location of the room was the best part about our stay. Phoenix west is a very nice beach resort. The lazy river and water slide are great for families with small children. The room itself was very spacious and clean. Perfect for a large group. We would stay again. Wish there were more towels included and the door stop was broken which made it annoying to open and close the door every time we left or arrived. Other than that, we had no issues.

Good communication, accommodating, and plenty of space for us all. Can’t beat being that close to the beach - plus the lazy river was a huge hit!

The property was beautiful! Everything we needed was included at the condo. Very spacious and the balcony view was chefs kiss! The bedrooms were very nice, especially the master! Would for sure recommend and stay again!

There was plenty of space for my entire family. The beach was amazing and not crowded at all. The first few days the pool/lazy river was clean, but by the end of our week long stay the pool was incredibly dirty with hair everywhere. The condo itself wasn’t clean either. There was a brown smear on my “clean” toilet seat that I had to clean off myself. Dirty smeared handprint on the bathroom mirror. The floor looked clean, but the bottom of our feet were black after barely walking on it so we needed to keep our shoes on while in the condo. There was something (soda/coffee) sprayed on the kitchen cabinets. The new condo definitely needs a good cleaning. One big complaint I have about the pool area is that the rules are inconsistent. For example, one day you need a bracelet to get it, the next you don’t. One day you can’t eat in the pool, but other days you can. Some people can have their music in the water and others can’t. Some kids can rough house going down the slide, but some kids can’t. Signs are posted, but rules aren’t followed and are selectively enforced. We also chose this location for the indoor pool, but we quickly found out that when it’s storming at the outside pool is closed the indoor pool is ALSO closed. That should be noted on the listing because that was our backup plan for rainy days.

Easy check in process. Beautiful condo and very comfortable for 4 newly retired nurses. Only complaint is kitchenwares were not cleaned with stuck on food on cookies sheets and silverware (don't know if this is a dishwasher problem) 1 coffee cup has crack in it and drips coffee. Was not informed that you only get 1 roll of paper towels and 1 roll of TP per bathroom. As we run out on our last day we did not want to go buy more. We made do and consolidated what we could. Overall beautiful condo, fun times. Would rent again

We loved spending time admiring the gulf views from the spacious balcony. Some of the cookware was limited, and we had to go to the store to purchase a baking sheet to make cookies and use a towel to remove hot pans from the oven as there were no pot holders, but overall the kitchen was well-equipped for us to prepare some of our meals on property. We would definitely stay here again!

Had to contact Charlotte about a couple of minor things. She answered very quickly and took care of them immediately. My only negative would be might be time to replace all mattresses. I would definitely come back to this room again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Phoenix west 1502 during the week after Memorial Day. We have previously stayed in Phoenix orange beach a year ago. This unit has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We have four kids from 3-15 so it was perfect. Two queens in each and their own bathroom. There’s laundry in the hall bath. Weekend waits for elevator were long but after Monday no waiting. The condo is not the most updated or decorated, but for us that is no concern. It had tons of space. You do walk through lobby to the pool and lazy river and cross the parking deck somewhat. Even with kids it was not a safety concern. It’s equipped but there is no Keurig just fyi. It’s basic equipped. Walmart is five minutes or less after the deck exit. We are at docs across the street waiting for check in time. We had friends visit from a place near by for an afternoon. No issues. The slide and lazy river are awesome. Beach is stunning white and clean. We rented chairs and umbrella. They move you “up” as others leave. We walked and hunted crabs with the kids at night. 15 floors is high but it was no issue after the crowd left Monday. Checkin took 15 minutes maybe. Fav food was Lula’s and the Gulf. We drove to see the blue angels practice. 1000% worth 45 minute drive. My kids and husband liked it better than the phoenix orange beach bc of the faster and longer lazy river. To me they’re the same. Highly recommend and will be back.
