'Phoenix Nest' South Haven Condo: River View!

Our host answered immediately when we were having trouble gaining access to the property. Seems that one code had expired and she provided a working code within a minute. This was our 3rd stay at this property and we loved every minute of it. Fantastic location and beautiful place. Will be back of course..

This property, from its location to the sleeping layout to the beautiful upkeep and comfortable atmosphere, was an absolute DREAM! My four besties, who got to experience a Michigan fall for the first time, and I were just in awe of how perfect this VRBO suited our needs, and made for the most perfect environment to both explore town together and settle in for long nights of catching up. We had a great visit to South Haven, and Phoenix Nest was a charming condo for our long weekend. The location is awesome, just steps away from shops and restaurants. We enjoyed looking out onto the main street from the comfort of the living room. The balcony was perfect for a relaxing card game while enjoying a bottle of wine. The owner was accommodating, responsive, and easy to work with. We would recommend!

I usually rent a bed-and-breakfast. This is my first time renting a space in town. It was clean perfect location. We were there for the harvest ride so we weren’t there very often, but it was perfect and we will be back.

INCREDIBLE location and fun view!!

This was a beautiful, clean condo in the most convenient spot. We loved staying here! It was super close to restaurants, shops and the beach and it even had a filtered water pitcher in the fridge, shampoo and conditioner in the shower, board games, 2 beach chairs, etc. It was perfect for our family of 6 and we can’t wait to come back!

This is my second stay here and it’s a beautiful place. Nice location, clean and has everything you could need. Thank you for adding blinds to the upstairs windows!

Great location! Located right in the heart of downtown; walking distance to everything in town and an easy walk to South Beach!

We enjoyed the loft and its proximity to everything we did

Enjoyed our stay and the smell of baked cookies greeted us on our arrival compliments of the bakery downstairs. Clean easy to get around tow, parking overnight around the corner. We are 75 and 76 years old and stairs were doable.

Excellent location & excellent condo for a family getaway.

We loved this condo for our winter weekend away. It’s in the perfect location to enjoy all of south haven. We walked to the lake a couple times to see the ice and enjoyed walks all over downtown. The condo was super clean and had everything we needed. There are hooks everywhere which we have found is essential when renting (towels, swimsuits, snow pants, coats, etc.) and plenty of space for our family of 5. We had an excellent experience staying here.

I have always loved South Haven as a vacation spot (I live in Chicago). The place we stayed was well located, well equipped, comfortable, and quiet. It will certainly be under serious consideration for future South Haven trips.

Our family had a great stay at Phoenix Nest. The location is perfect for walking around South Haven; you can easily get to the harbor shops in one direction and South Beach in the other. Our daughter loved having the loft to herself. We appreciated having tons of extra towels and lots of hangers and closet space in the bedroom. We would happily stay here again.

My family and I stayed at the condo for a few days during the week for a quick getaway from Chicago. We have been to South Haven many times but have always stayed farther from the downtown area. Being in the mix was a game changer. It was so easy to walk down the stairs to access the restaurants, shops and even walk to the pier or South Beach. The inside of the condo was clean and homey. It has everything you need. The living space was so cozy and we loved sitting in the swivel chairs and looking out on the street activity and the water. I really appreciated that they provided a few trash bags, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and some other essentials that saved me a trip to the store. The welcome binder was helpful and we had no problems finding the trash room or accessing the internet. Beds were comfy, there were extra towels, pillows, and blankets. You can tell a lot of thought went into this place. One thing I will mention is that there are a few windows near the stairs that bring in a lot of light and don't have shades, so bring your eye masks for sleeping in the loft. Also, sound carries throughout so if you have people sleeping in the loft, bring a fan or little sound machine to drown out some noise. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

The location could not be better in the middle of town and short walk to the beach. House in spotless with everything thing you need for your stay.

This property was even better than advertised. The location is great and the property was super clean and well stocked. Me and my family will definitely be back.
