Sandpoint, Idaho
Available for most months of the year. HOA's of the Association require a minimum of a 30 night stay. This is a cozy 1000 sq ft, 2 level condo that has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The master has a king bed and a nice little walk-in closet. There is a queen in the second bedroom. It is an end unit with no units overhead so it is pretty quiet. There is a W/D, dishwasher, 3 flat screen tv's, satellite Directv service, air conditioning, internet and an outdoor bar-b-que grill. Also has lots of nice amenities on the property, pool and hot tub, tennis courts, pickleball, basketball hoop, golf pitching green, and it is right on the lake! Walk out the door, straight across the beautiful green grass and go for a swim. Nice lake views from the master bedroom and main floor as well. After swimming, in the summer, hop on your bike and ride the bike path into town to shop the farmers markets or enjoy the shops and dining of downtown Sandpoint. It is only a five minute ride into the heart of downtown, approximately 1 mile. The condo has a nice sense of privacy on beautifully landscaped grounds and would be a wonderful place to spend a month or more of your summer.
In the winter it is only 15 miles to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, the largest ski area in Idaho. Schweitzer boasts 2900 acres of skiing and in now part of the Ikon Pass family. Sandpoint is just south of the Candian Border, the Powder Highway, and some of the best skiing in all of North America. All this and it is only 3 hours to Glacier National Park . You decide......stay as busy as you like or just hang out and relax.
Very clean, very quiet, on the water two story condo. We were there for five weeks. Sandpoint, Montana, Washington state, Canada, Priest Lake are all a short drive away. WE WILL BE BACK, Thank you Mike for sharing. Vince
Lovely condo, nice and warm, comfy beds. Everything you need for a winter getaway Having the driveway cleared when it snowed was a bonus.
The condo is clean and stocked with everything you'll need; thick towels, fully functional kitchen, comfy beds, great TVs, and a beautiful location. We really enjoyed the two adult bikes and access to the bike path into town. The host is very accommodating and very accessible.
Quiet and cute place near lake
Had a very pleasant stay. The home is located in a community that is well maintained with large green open spaces that run down to the lakeshore. Sandpoint is a short ride, walk or bike away and offers all the services and dining one could want. I have visited Sandpoint several times and plan to do so again.
Owner was very communicative and accommodating. We asked If it would be possible to check in and out a few days earlier than planned, and owner was agreeable He called us prior to our stay to confirm check in process and make sure we had everything we needed Owner was quick to respond with the couple of questions we had throughout our stay. We enjoyed the property very much, the pool and the tennis court were a favorite of our kids. The condo was clean and well-maintained and fully stocked with everything we could have needed. The owner went the extra mile to have satellite TV hooked up before our stay and put in a new air-conditioning unit so that we would be comfortable. It was a great visit and we would love to go back again.
3 nice tv’s with the worst service. If you need tv go someplace else.
I would rate our stay a 4.5 star experience. The condo is in a safe, quiet neighborhood located two miles from downtown Sandpoint. It is a mixture of attached condos set in a park-like area that overlooks the Pend Oreille River. We found the unit to be very clean upon our arrival. It has no overhead neighbors so it is very quiet and private. The condo has two upstairs bedrooms and a full bathroom. The downstairs consists of a one-half bathroom, living and dining rooms and a fully modern kitchen. The condo provided everything we needed for our two month stay. The beds were very comfortable and the three tvs provided about 30 cable channels for our entertainment. The Wifi signal was strong so there were no internet issues. We certainly enjoyed our stay and would return again. The cons: the air conditioning would not cool the condo on some warm summer nights and there is no covered parking for your car.
Great place to stay! The location was nice and quiet but the train could be heard at night but that’s pretty much anywhere in Sandpoint. The community was beautiful and well kept. Tennis courts, basketball water entry are all right out your door. There is a pool and hot tub but they weren’t open during our stay due to maintenance. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need and had a BBQ. The king bed in the master bedroom was so unbelievably comfortable it was hard to get out of. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a month long getaway to this beautiful town.
We are house hunting and needed two weeks to look around. We found that we spent more time than we imagined at the VRBO cuz it worked so well. Close to everything, walks with wine around the grass down to the lake, and when it rained, we stopped all our endeavors and listened to the storm. Just great!
