This quaint and attractive 1 bedroom is a perfect place to land after your Maui activities! On site you'll not only find a fresh water pool and shuffleboard, but also a raised pavilion for entertaining your new found friends and family. In view of the lanai are beautifully landscaped grounds to be enjoyed.

    Excellent location across the street from a beach with gorgeous sunsets everyday. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed.

    These condos are in a perfect location, close to beach. This place was slightly cheaper as advertised, but i was no expecting the condition it was in. I have stayed at the resort in other units on about 5 occasions, However this condo is dirty, with old dirt. Just guessing based on the type of dirt, cobwebs and dust, it has not been really cleaned for over a year. By that I mean that many things clearly had not been given a wipe with a damp cloth. I told the manager right away that the place needed a deep clean - but no response. The manager did address the cockroaches in the kitchen when i complained about them. Both doors need to have their seals replaced to stop the ingress of bugs, Also, all the cabinets are made of chipboard the bases of which are all disintegrating leaving disintegrated chips on the floor in kitchen, bathroom and bedroom (every room). It is kind of weird like there was a flood that ruined the chip board but this unit is on higher ground, The owner has made a homemade cabinet to replace the island - but its not pretty. Also not pretty is the owner's attempted art work in the bathroom where there is a homemade attempt to re-do the walls with paint and plaster. It needs a new bed, pillows and sheets because the old ones smell, This should not be rented out. It is hard to know what to do when you have paid up front, Condo needs professional renovation, Gross

    I was a house keeper for over 50 plus years and I feel the bathroom was bad mildew in the shower area , kitchen was not clean and the handles on the fridge were horrible try a mr clean sponge on them ! I swept everything every day but no dust pan so I left it in a pile ! No place to hang towel’s except all over the chairs out side ! The back of the bathroom door had mold growing on it where you have some kind of hooks so didn’t want to hang them there ! I saw $ 180 on my email for cleaning and I wondered what they do ! Also the ceiling fan in the bedroom you can’t use at night because it makes a clinking sound! I guess I wasn’t sure of the product that I had to get so I left toilet paper & toiletries and paper towel! The mattress in the bed needs replacing the side by the windows has a big crease in it also pillows should be replaced! The size of the place was nice ! The screen door needs replacing! Would I come again? In a heartbeat was the most beautiful and amazing place I’ve been yet ! Is this the price all the time all year long ? I hope I get a response to mine thank you ! Kim Soderberg ?

    This was a wonderful condo to stay in! The condo came fully stocked (which I didn't know from the listing, so that was a nice surprise!); beach chairs, snorkels, beach umbrella, towels, and everything you could need in a kitchen including the cooking basics like margarine, ketchup, mustard, mayo, olive oil, and a plethora of kitchen appliances and pots and pans, even a blender! There was enough toilet paper etc. for my partner and I to get through 10 days without having to go buy anything from the store. There are BBQs available for guest use also. The bed in the unit was very comfy; I usually have a hard time sleeping anywhere other than home but I had no problem here! There is no air conditioning in the bedroom, but with it turned on in the living room and sleeping with the bedroom door open and the ceiling fan and an oscillating fan on we had no problems with being too hot at night. I appreciated all the hangers in the closet as I was unable to completely unpack my suitcase. The outdoor space was nice to eat breakfast and the property grounds are beautiful with lots of beautiful hibiscus and bougainvillea flowers! The property is right across the street from Kamaole II which is a great beach, we saw turtles here every day we went! You are also within walking distance to a lot of restaurants in Kihei. Overall it is in a fantastic location. A new coat of paint wouldn't go amiss in the unit but all of the important things were clean enough for my liking! The unit is at the very back of there property so it was very quiet all day. There are quite a lot of buildings and units on the property so if you are arriving after 5pm like we did I suggest looking up a map of Kihei Kai Nani on Google (there are lots of images) so you know where the actual unit is located to avoid any confusion finding it! I will be recommending this unit to other budget conscious travelers and will keep it in mind for the future!

    Love staying at the Kai Nani! The condo could use a Reno but overall it was a good stay. Be back soon.
