Welcome to Mountain Lake 502C! This gorgeous penthouse is located directly across Lone Mountain Trail from Big Sky Resort! Feel right at home cozying up next to the fireplace, while enjoying views of Lone Peak. This is a prime location to enjoy all the winter and summer activities Big Sky has to offer.

The condo is located in the brand new Mountain Lake Complex that offers so many wonderful amenities such as a pool, hot tub, gym, rec room, billiards table, ping-pong table, flat-screenTV, game table, Wii and Wifi.

In the summer, enjoy all the warm weather activities of Big Sky Resort including ziplining, mountain biking, hiking, archery, scenic lift rides, and kayak/SUP on Lake Levinsky. Enjoy more mountain biking, hiking, and golf in Big Sky Meadow Village. Experience blue ribbon fly fishing in the Gallatin and Madison Rivers, or boating/kayaking on Lake Hebgen, all within 15 minutes to an hour from the condo.

In the winter experience the Biggest Skiing in America, with 5,800 skiable acres! Since this condo is right across from the Resort, don't worry about the morning 'hassle' of getting ready for the slopes. Just jump in your car, drive about 2 minutes, and park in the large 'Free Skier' parking lot at the base of the Resort. Don't have a vehicle Not a problem. The Skyline Shuttle will pick you up right outside the Mountain Lake condos at the stop sign. If you have more in mind than skiing, you're just minutes away from Spirit Of the North's Dog Sledding that will take you all around Moonlight Basin!

Amenities at the Mountain Lakes condos include a pool (summer months only), hot tub, gym, and recreation room with billiards table, ping-pong table, flat-screen TV, game table, Wii and Wifi. Big Sky Resort has a small grocery store, shops, bars, restaurants and outfitters. Big Sky Meadow Village, a short 10-minute drive down Lone Mountain Trail, has larger grocery stores, and more shops, outfitters, bars, and restaurants. West Yellowstone is a beautiful 1 hour and 30-minute drive and makes
a great pre-, post- or day trip

The fitness facility is indoors, the hot tub is outdoors, and both are available for all guests staying within the Mountain Lake Complex. They are managed by the HOA of the building complex and are typically open year-round. Two Pines is not responsible for any unforeseen closure to these facilities as we do not manage and maintain these amenities.

This home does not have air conditioning.

Most homes in Big Sky don't, thanks to our typically mild summer temperatures. For a true Montana experience, we recommend our classic Montana A/C: open the windows at night to let in the cool mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds first thing in the morning to keep the cool air inside throughout the remainder of the day


Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport

In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

    Summit View was an excellent base for our annual family skiing retreat. With four bedrooms and bathrooms, our multi-generational family had room to spread out and still spend quality time together. The view of Lone Peak from the spacious living area was wonderful and we really appreciated the on call shuttle service that whisked us to the lifts every day so we didn't have to worry about finding parking on the mountain.

    Very well appointed condo near Big Sky Resort. Spacious and had all kitchen amenities you could ask for. We had a minor issue with cleaning which was quickly addressed by Two Pines. Communication with Two Pines was excellent. Highly recommend this listing. Wonderful stay. Gorgeous views!

    The property was perfect for a large group, we had everything needed to prepare meals and get ready for a day on the slopes. Transportation from this location is not very reliable, so a car is needed. There were a few small issues, but we were able to get those resolved with a few phone calls.

    Perfect for a multi-generational family vacation. High-end property and finishes. The view of the mountain is spectacular. Good value for the money. Loved the electric recliner by the window and TV. Electric fireplace is super cozy and convenient. Kitchen very well appointed. Nice touches like quality hand lotion and shampoo that you don't often get with a vacation rental. Luxurious master bathroom with big soaking tub was perfect after a long day skiing. Heated garage with an elevator straight to the condo was very convenient.5-minute drive to the ski slopes/resort village.

    Booking, check-in, and check-out experiences were all extremely easy and professional. The unit itself seemed essentially brand new, also evident from the large amount of construction happening on the building next door. The shared amenities - pool, billiards, etc - was underwhelming but not a problem for us as we spent much of our time exploring Big Sky.
