Stayed Jan 3, 2026We have stayed at this location twice (once with kids and once without. Both times the accommodations have been clean. The view is beautiful. Lots of bird watching. The grounds are kept tidy. Having a washing machine is a huge bonus just to reset. The shower was cooler this (second) time but I'm sure if we asked they could have turned up the water heater for us. But we only stayed one night this time so didn't bother asking. Great for both short and long stays.

Stayed Dec 7, 2018Nice penthouse but not very well equipped, limited kitchen cookware, lack of comfortable outside furniture. Misleading, it's a one bedroom with an extra bed in the loft. Pool had two lounge chairs, hot tub was empty. Very windy location.

Stayed May 26, 2018The condo has all of the amenities you require to have a peaceful respite. 25 minutes to Nueve Arenal for restauants but worth the trio.

Stayed Mar 30, 2018We recently stayed at this condo on the west side of Lake Arenal. The map shows the location much closer to La Fortuna, but in reality it is closer to an hour an one half (90 minutes) away from La Fortuna and the volcano. In addition, the description is misleading as it is only has one bedroom. The other is a loft, which is open to the rooms downstairs. The website also indicates it sleeps 6. There are 2 queen beds and one, small futon, which wasn't even big enough to sleep two of my children. We ended up having to have one child sleep on the couch, which was okay, but we had to request additional bedding to accommodate. I'd recommend this place if you don't mind the location and don't need to sleep more than 4 comfortably. It was very clean and had wonderful views of the lake and volcano, but it's just too far from any of the recreational spots.
