Pelican L-03--2 Bedroom +Bunk Lanai. Newly Renovated Sleeps 11!!

It was very nice especially for my grandkids they had a great time in the resort and the condo was nice.

This condo has not been newly renovated several pieces of furniture broken, broken curtain rods, huge cobwebs in master bedroom and the mattress in the Pirate bunk room (on the lower bunk) was like sleeping on plywood and the walls on the upper bunk were very dirty!! The rugs in all rooms really needed to be cleaned! We have stayed at Destin West for several years and this room was the worst room The only positive for this room the location to the lazy river and pool! We did enjoy the patio and easy access to pool I would not recommend until it has been newly renovated!

The property was tired. The shared bath needs to be repainted it had terrible touch up paint that didn’t match. The entire condo needs a good cleaning top to bottom. There were cob webs in the corner of the master and accumulated dust on the wall hangings. The master bed was extremely comfortable but the two bunk room mattresses were horrible. My adult children woke up with back aches each morning. The sofa bed was not any better

Overall it was a great week. Room was clean and don’t have. My complaints.

Easy check-in. The host was quick with his responses when I had questions. The kids loved that they were on the same level as the lazy river which we loved because jelly fish were pretty bad when we stayed! Would absolutely stay again.

When we arrived a table leg was broken and we had to call and have someone come to repair it. Later we noticed a chair leg was also broken and again had to call and get it repaired. We did not use the grill because when I opened the cover, I saw a large rat on the grills. The beach chairs and umbrella were rusted and worn to the point they were unusable, the boogie board was broken. A couple of day's later the sink started leaking on the kitchen floor and we called again and had to have the disposal replaced. We were clearly disappointed!

The location of the condo was amazing! It was plenty big enough for our family and lots of closet space and dressers to unpack. Right off the lazy river, easy access to the pools, large lanai for hanging out and even a covered area we could sit under during the Florida pop up rains. Plus a easy walk next door to Ricks, which has some great food and they also have boat rentals. There are few things that need some attention. First the floors need a deep clean or even steam clean. My kids feet were black after walking around inside the condo barefoot. This was immediately upon arrival, so I feel like the floor was not moped at all. The shower curtain in the hall bathroom had a large area of mold on it. The stools at the kitchen counter are peeling excessively and stuck to your skin when you sat on them and one stool was very wobbly. It would also be helpful to maybe have a map of the property to show you where everything is located. Overall we enjoyed it a great deal.

Long way to beach.

We loved the whole vacation. The wonderful condo was in a great location .and we loved the lazy river and all the pools available. The condo was fully stocked for all our needs. We loved it!!!

We had a great vacation, communication with host was very easy through the VRBO app for the few questions we had, very convenient location to the lazy river, we had a great time. Thank you!
