Stayed Jul 16, 2022The condo worked out great for our family! Beautiful view of the bay, we saw dolphins right off the dock. Short walk across the street to the beach. Overall, a good location, walkable to Bridge Street to shops and restaurants. There is quite a bit of traffic usually so traveling the island can take a while. This was our 3rd trip to AMI, we love the area. One unfortunate thing that was happening while we were there was construction right next to the building. Started before 7am and was loud. Not only are they building a house, but they also demolished the house next door to it while we were there. Also, you can hear every footstep the occupants of the condo above make, pretty sure they never stopped moving the entire day. Plan on buying everything you need for cooking. There was nothing provided in the condo (salt/pepper) etc. We book through VRBO every time we stay and it’s the first time we’ve experienced this. Usually there are basic items there already. It’s also the only place we’ve rented that didn’t have beach chairs provided, that would have been nice. It’s also a good 15 minute ride to pick up and drop off the keys to the rental office. Most of the other units had lock boxes, that would have been better. Overall we had a great week, just bad timing I guess with the construction. But the beach was beautiful, weather was great and we love Florida.
