Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our stay. The beach is beautiful and so was the house. It was a very quite place to enjoy in great part of Oahu. The trails, the surf spots, and the scenery was amazing. I would highly recommend staying there!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a beautiful place. Quiet. Peaceful. Close to the beach. Close to Haleiwa. I especially love the kitchen and the saltwater pool. I have stayed here twice for extended periods - and plan to stay here as many times as I can in the future. Absolutely wonderful place to stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful condo only a moment's walk from the sandy beach. Gourmet kitchen, exquisite outdoor shower, quiet and peaceful, with lush landscaped grounds around. 8' deep salt water pool only a minute away for a wonderful swim. Close to hiking, North Shore activities and all aviation activities at Dillingham Field. This place is our favorite.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A very comfortable, nicely remodeled beach cottage with all the kitchen amenities you want, including dishwasher. Quiet, tranquil setting only a short walk back from the beach. The outdoor shower is amazing, private but with a view of mountains, trees, birds, etc. No better way to start the morning. Located in a gated community with reserved parking, this is our #1 choice of places to stay on Oahu.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family of 4 (2 young children 4&6) stayed here for a little over a month before completing our move off island. It was a wonderful stay-cation for us. We were a little smooshed in the 1 bedroom, but there was really plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen was wonderful and we cooked almost every meal in there. The beach that The Colony was great to walk and explore, plus we loved the snorkeling right there too! A great location for some wonderful hikes, skydiving, and a weekly polo match. The owners were extremely responsive and the lease process was quick.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wow, what an impression this unit and this gated condo complex makes! It's more country and quiet yet close to all the North Shore sites. Minutes walk from the front door is your own ocean access where you can swim, beach-comb or just walk the beach for a long way. There's hiking trails and horseback riding, hang gliders and colorful parachuters overhead, kite boarders and surfers in the distant waters. We even saw an occasional breaching whale on the horizon. The surf this time of year is spectacular, as is the sunset over Kaena Point! The complex is gated and quiet, well maintained by an on-site manager and grounds crew. You get a designated parking space and access to laundry, a small pool, and tennis courts. The side-by-side, single story duplex units afford an incredible view of the Waianae Mountains in one direction and you can hear the surf crashing the shore the other way! The unit is how it is described and portrayed, open floor plan and newly remodeled with nice amenities. We especially liked the pastoral view out the front, large kitchen, walk-in shower and bonus outdoor shower. Coming from the Midwest, it was great to sleep with the windows open, in February, the whole time we were there and sometimes shower outside! One tip for monthly renters is to stop at a grocery store and stock up with kitchen and bath essentials, including hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, shampoo, laundry soap and other items you might expect upon first arriving.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had so much fun. The place is all brand new....granite countertops to new cabinets, flooring everything....very classy and done right...The beach is 100 yrds away and very relaxing....fishing off the shore or surfing....The cottage is close to all amenities that you would ever need... close to great restaurants, or any water sports you may want to engage in. I would highly recommend staying here. A quiet lovely home...We can't wait to come back....
