Live large and experience Maui on your terms at the legendary Kihei Surfside Resort in south Kihei (built in 1975). This is R&R in the best sense of a vacation. Enjoy your coffee on the lanai looking directly at the island of Lanai . . . or, on the show-stopping front lawn as the waves break below you. This second floor condo (#208) includes granite countertops, bamboo cabinets, stainless-steel appliances, including dishwasher, a 55-inch flat screen smart Ultra 4L LG TV with the full menu of channels via Spectrum, toll-free calling back to North America, and Bluetooth-enabled sound Marshall system that streams directly from your smartphone. A relatively new queen size sleeper sofa sits in front of the panoramic ocean views. The unit is finished throughout with beautiful Italianate tile. The bathroom has a stone-tiled walk-in shower. The bedroom is outfitted with a king bed, wood shutters and a multi-speed overhead fan and, yes, air conditioning. This unit sleeps 3 comfortably, and is fully furnished with comfy linens.

This oceanfront vacation condo is steps away from ocean adjacent front park-like lawn and whale watching in season and spectacular sunsets all year long. It really is paradise . . enjoying a morning coffee on the lawn as you look out and see the islands of Lanai, Kaho’olawe and also and Molokini Crater can be seen from the property. With a two minute walk — you're on the beautiful golden sands of Keawakapu beach, one of Maui’s best beaches, just behind the neighboring Mana Kai Resort.

A 5-minute drive takes you to all the shops and restaurants of Kihei town or the Shops at Wailea. The condo is at the end of a long driveway from South Kihei Road, so that you don’t hear the traffic noise – just the ocean waves, birds chirping, and the sweet, incredible trade winds.

We are directly oceanfront and the Pacific trade winds blow in right off the ocean all the time. These trade winds, along with ceiling fans in the living and bedrooms, keep the condo comfortable for most people. If you prefer a cooler temperature a brand new Daikin air conditioner has just been installed in the bedroom as of March 2024.

We are unit 208, on the 2nd floor, in the center of the building, the view looks out across the lawn directly to the ocean. And, parking is free. People who have stayed at the Kihei Surfside love it and tend to return.
