Olympic Valley, California
Escape to one of the nicest updated one-bedroom condos in Olympic Valley!
A wonderful part about this one bedroom, one bath condo is that it is beautifully updated with wood floors, granite kitchen counter and a gorgeous bathroom with tiled shower.
The next wonderful part is that no matter what time of year you are in Olympic Valley, this location is amazingly convenient with easy access to skiing, hiking, biking, shops and dining. Park your car and you will not have to get back in as the condominium is in walking distance to the Village at Palisades Tahoe, a five-minute walk away.
The bedroom has a king bed and flat-screen TV. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal for family or friends after a long Tahoe fun-filled day. There is a dining room table that seats four. The living room has a large TV and a recliner that is perfect after a big day. The TVs have Sling TV with Roku in both the living room and the bedroom.
Take advantage of the walking distance to the slopes in the wintertime and the easy access you have to all the hiking trails around you (such as the famous Shirley Canyon trail) in the summer. And Lake Tahoe is only a 10-minute drive away if you choose to venture out!

Overall amazing experience. This condo is simply perfect for a ski getaway. Thank you for the hospitality!
Great location, convenient parking, clean, easy to follow check-in instructions. We had a great stay - the only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is the price was a little steep compared to other vrbos we have stayed in.
It’s 5 minutes walk away from the aerial tram / funitel gondola. The place is spacious enough for 2 adults and can probably fit more. The kitchen was very well equipped and there’s paid laundry on site which makes longer stays very comfortable. Very recommended for a ski trip.
The location is very convenient: 5-10 minute walk to the village / tram / funitel. Place was clean, kitchen well stocked. Bathroom and kitchen look to have been recently refurbished. Parking is convenient.
Great location, nicely stocked kitchen, updated appliances and furniture. Easy arrival. The snow had limited the parking lot spaces, so bring only one car until it melts.
This condo was perfect for our family!
Great place for a ski vacation. 5-10 min walk to the tram and lifts
Great property- neat and clean and extremely close to Palisades Village. Neighbors are very nice and helpful. Tons of towels which are usually rare at rental units!
We had a great time, cozy condo. Bring extra blankets and pillows. Couch bed is pretty standard so putting your own blankets underneath to not feel coils is very helpful. No problem with hot water. Bathroom fan is still a little off but no big deal. Condos are a bit old so the fridge and heat make noise. No big deal but if that bothers you bring earplugs. So close to the slopes. Would stay again!
Until our last night, Friday, I would have rated this condo a 3/4. We weren't given the check-in details until 45 min. before check-in time - though I called at 1:00 to see what the deal was (makes you wonder if there's really going to be a place waiting for us!). Soon after checking in, we got an email telling us that there was a shortage of towels; that they'd deliver more the next day. Two lg. towels for 3 adults who had just skied all day would not have been acceptable, but we happened to find 2 more in the dresser an hour later. The bathroom fan worked automatically, and there were a couple of nights where it ran all night, no matter what we did to try and stop it. It would stop for a minute, then start back up again. We could have lived with all that, BUT on Friday night, after we were all sound asleep (just after 10:30), the door was unlocked, and the owner walked in pounding on the door to wake us up. He very loudly asked us what we were still doing there... and once we were awake and over the initial shock, we produced the paperwork that proved that we weren't squatting, we'd actually paid to be there until Sat. morning. He stormed off to make a phone call while we showed his wife (?) the details, and though she seemed apologetic, he did not. He was accusatory the entire time, not seeming to care that he had scared the living crap out of us. I waited a couple of days before calling the management company, because we certainly realize that mistakes happen... but we figured we'd at the very least get an apology from him. If we'd been in his shoes, we might have slipped a note under the door that night after he realized we were right. Hell, we would have quietly backed out of the condo, and double-checked our info, once we realized people were still in there, which would have avoided the entire unpleasant scene! We can't give this more than a 1 rating - and we've been traveling around for 4 months every winter for the past 4 years, staying in many rentals, and I've never given anyone less than a 4 rating - because we didn't feel safe. We assume that once we lock a door, we're secure; that nobody will burst in on us... and yet it happened. And we didn't get an apology (except from the mgmt company, and they were extremely apologetic; they even credited us for that night's stay). It seems like that's the least he could have done.
