Pajaro Dunes Resort: Extraordinary Luxury At The Beach! Sleeps 6

We enjoyed nice, clean, spacious accomidations in a very impressive coastal setting.

We always love staying at Pajaro dunes. Overall stay was well. Kitchen was well stocked. Living room was accommodating and cozy. Bedrooms were nice. Bathroom had a cobweb that my daughter freaked out over and floorboards were a little dusty. We are kind of neat freaks so most other people probably wouldn't have noticed anything. We still had a lovely time and would come back again.

Clean room

Beautiful home and perfect for our family. The home was clean and stocked with upgraded items for cooking every night! Towels ( bath and beach ) and the washer and dryer was a must for a family of five. Beds were extremely comfortable and the Murphy bed was a cool addition our 8 year old son LOVED. Proximity to the beach was unbeatable, we spent two and a half days enjoying 75 degree weather and seeing more wildlife then we could ever imagine including dolphins jumping the final night at sunset. Perfection. Quiet location and so peaceful. Kids loved the games and extra beach toys. We left a few of ours to add to the collection! The only little bit of feedback I’d share is we couldn’t figure out how to get the DVD player to work unfortunately and the TV was kinda finicky. Not easy to get on and off and volume wouldn’t work until we played with it ( turned off and on a few times).

It was absolutely amazing! Better than we imagined in every way! Fully stocked condo and literally steps from the ocean!It truly was a dream come true!The jack and jill type bathroom was a huge help and the extra bedding was clean and easily accessible.Cannot say enough good things about this place. Gated, respectful community. Truly felt safe and welcomed by all. We even saw a sea otter from shore!!

My family stayed at Pelican Point for two nights and had a wonderful time (2 adults, 4 kids ages infant-7 years old)! The check-in process was simple and the resort staff were friendly and helpful (the complementary cookies were a hit with the kids!). There were plenty of parking spaces to choose from near the condo and the short flight of stairs to the front door wasn’t a problem for us. The condo was spotlessly clean—we were very impressed! It has been tastefully decorated and has a lovely west-facing dune view with a very short walk to the beach access stairs. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were very soft, and the pillows were comfortable. My husband was pleased with the recliner couches—a non-negotiable feature for him in a vacation rental! The kids enjoyed some of the games on the shelf and the family-friendly movie selection. The modified Jack-and-Jill style bathroom layout is a bit quirky but wasn’t a problem for us at all. Although a bit outdated compared to the rest of the condo, the bathroom was very clean with plenty of hot water and we appreciated the extra beach towels available. One highlight of the stay was the kite that was with the beach toys on the deck. The big kids loved flying it! We would be more than happy to stay again!

Absolutely love the Dunes! Our second time staying here as a family. The ability to walk to the beach and back, also a short drive from both Monterrey and Santa Cruz. Beautiful for family or as a couple. I imagine even a get away by yourself!

Very nicely appointed condo a step away from the beach. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the getaway with our family.

This is such a beautiful place to be. The accommodations were perfect and just the right size for four adults and two children and the proximity to the beach was the very best part. The weather in Watsonville is really great not the foggy cold like Monterey and the temperature of the water at the beach was not too cold. It was just right. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and close to the beach

If you are looking for a quiet retreat by the ocean this is your spot. The place was clean, kitchen was well stocked and furniture was very comfortable. It is at the far end of the property so be prepared to drive a bit to get in. There are also a few stairs to get to the door, but otherwise on one level. The resort staff was very friendly and after figuring out the various gates and how to get in and out of the property everything worked great. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a weekend as part of a large group attending an annual family gathering. The condo has a wonderful location and was very clean and well appointed.

Upon arrival to Pajaro dunes, we realized that the unit that we originally reserved had stairs to get to the main entry. This is the reason why the check-in process was a little tricky. We were traveling with my elderly parents and they cannot go up any stairs. This was a specific request when booking on VRBO. With that said we had to go through the management team there at Pajaro dunes and they were able to accommodate us at a different property there on the premises, but it wasn’t until an hour and a half later of our arrival that we were able to check into one of the units. I will say that the manager that we dealt with was awesome in getting us the accommodations that would suit our elderly parents and the next day they were very generous with a beautiful basket of wine and goodies for my parents. We were celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary. Besides the check in process our stay there was wonderful , We will probably visit Pajaro dunes again !
