Pajaro Dunes Resort 2 Bedroom Cozy Beach Condo, Easy Access

The stay was without insane. Very lovely setting. Absolutely photo worthy.The condo had some minor issues but overall a pleasant stay.Hard to identify where the convenience store is located as well.Cheers.

It was an enjoyable stay. The location was great; centrally located to both Santa Cruz and Monterey, on the beach, and yet away from the crowds and noise of the city. The unit was quaintly furnished and had a good selection of housewares to meet our needs.

A little old and run down. Location ok easy walk to the beach. Several things did not work in the property.

The location is awesome!! Walks on beach 3 times a day!! The house needs some TLC. Drawer in kitchen broken, the slats for the bed in second bedroom aren't long enough so the mattress kept curling off the side of the bed. The slider worked so hard we thought it was broken. The master bedroom blinds were broken... but we fixed those...I think!! The place just needs some basic maintenance. So hopefully most of things will be taken care of. The location is FANTASTIC! We saw dolphins, seals, sea otters, and pelicans. The house was comfortable for the four of us. Well stocked kitchen. We did all of our own cooking and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Really....if the maintenance issues get solved, this is a great place!!

The property is located closer to the parking lot than to the ocean. It's a short walk to the ocean either way, but if you were hoping to look out your window at the ocean, it's not quite that close. The property was clean and well-maintained. Staff was pleasant and checked us in quickly. The king-sized mattress is a little on the firm side, but otherwise comfortable. Unlike some other properties we've stayed at, minor items like soap and shampoo for the shower were not provided so plan on bringing your own if you plan on using the shower. Hand soap for the sink was provided. IMO, the chairs and sofa could stand to be a little more comfortable. They aren't old or worn down by any stretch, but they get uncomfortable to sit in for longer stretches. If you are planning to rent this property through VRBO, check the fees before committing. We rented for a three night stay and the fees (between VRBO fees and resort fees) ended up being almost as much as the three-night rental fee. The fees at other rentals that I've rented through VRBO have not been nearly as high. We like this complex very much, but given the cost we probably would pick a different unit on our next trip.

Cozy space with great beach access and very quiet. Lots of walking areas and several pickleball and tennis courts for the sports minded

Pajaro Dunes is quiet and beautiful. This specific property is clean, everything worked well, and had a well-stocked kitchen an cleaning supplies you might need. It also has a washer and dryer, not pictures but definitely handy for a 4 night stay with kids. We had a great time!!
