They do test the bacteria levels daily, but the majority of the year the Ocean has been closed from the Border, past Imperial Beach up to Coronado Beach. If swimming in the ocean is a major amenity I would not stay in these areas, until further notice.***

The beach club is a three story private, gated complex. The Beach Club is a U-shaped buildingthat is located on the sand, no busy street or boardwalk separating you from the beach. It has its own heated pool, Jacuzzi hot tub, and barbecue facilities in the spacious garden atrium.
