Mattresses were in need of replacement. Lighting was poor in every room. Kitchen was outfitted well. It was great to have 2 bathrooms.
The pictures online didn't do the property justice. It ended up far exceeding our expectations! For our group of 4, the place was the perfect size, very homey, and only a 5 minute walk from the resort! This place was a great find and we absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The Snake River donuts that The Outpost crew provided as a welcome was a great touch of hospitality as well! 10/10 would recommend!
Our stay was cozy! It is in a great location and we had everything we needed! Communication was also very easy!
Very nice place in a beautiful location. Check in process and door code was very convenient.
Got an incredible deal in December and couldn't say no. Wonderful location. Only downside - beds (mainly mattresses) are super uncomfortable. We came before the full season prices kicked in and we're not upset. Everything else was great!
Communication and check in were good. The carpet was worn (threads coming up) dated and dirty. Almost everything out dated: paint, decorating, furniture, appliances, cabinets, uncomfortable, old mattress in master. Wood provided for fireplace was wet, no kindling: impossible to start a fire; very disappointed stay
We stayed near the end of the 2023 ski season and the unit definitely needed a deep cleaning of the carpets. Other than that the unit was fine for the cost..Nothing fancy, a bit dated but we came for the mountain not the lodging :) It was nice to have 2 full baths for the 4 of us to use. Kitchen had the basics. Shuttle picks up right 25 yds from the unit, which is super convienient.
Amazing location. That’s all. The place is dated and needs more lounge seating. I thought the beds were comfortable.
Overall, this place was way too expensive for what it was. It is very old with limited space, so advertising it as 6 people (6 people would make it more affordable) is kind of a joke. On top of that, the pull out couch was broken and extremely uncomfortable. After a few emails and phone calls, they dropped off a blow up mattress to fix this issue. Would highly NOT recommend more than 5 people here, 4 is really the better number. There was no sponge/soap to clean dishes with, any oil or kitchen related fixings included. The 2 bedrooms beds were extremely uncomfortable. The only good thing about this place is the location, a 10 min walk or a quick shuttle ride to the mountain was great. Overall, they need to upgrade the beds and the pull out mattress, and provide more home-type amenities to make this place worth staying at for a few days or more.
We wanted to stay near the ski lifts rather than having to drive each day to the ski area from Jackson. This condo allowed us to do that either by walking (5+ min, which we never did) or taking the ski shuttle that had a stop right outside the condo. This location was the biggest plus regarding this condo. For the 3 of us adult senior males, we had enough space to be comfortable, but, if we had been 4 (1 had to cancel) as originally planned, space would have been much tighter. The main drawbacks were: not much light and lack of drinking glasses. We also had a problem with one of the bathroom heaters. Lack of clear instructions of what to do with recyclables was frustrating.
The management had great communication with us while we were there. They also provide a notebook with helpful info on the surrounding area. The bedrooms could use brighter lighting and the overall decor is a little outdated but it’s a great location and suited our needs.
The property definitely need some updating - carpeting, plumbing, deck, light fixtures, bed mattresses. But the location was great and it was sufficient for our needs. We just wouldn't have paid that much had we known how rundown it was.
I would stay here again. Having access to a hot tub was super convenient and useful considering all the hiking we were doing!
The owner is responsive with our questions. Enjoyed our five nights staying. Clean place and great location
From check in to check out, we had a great place to relax at the end of the day. Communication was excellent with great follow up.
We enjoyed our (unexpected) stay in the Tetons when Yellowstone closed. Fortunately we were able to find this accommodation. It was a perfect location to explore Grand Teton National Park and the Jackson area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with a nice kitchen. Although we did not use the fireplace as it was summer it did look very cozy. We used the coin operated laundry on site which worked well. It is an easy walk to all that Teton village has to offer and we really enjoyed the warm outdoor swimming pool and hot tub at the Tennis club just down the street. It was a short drive to the entrance of the National Park and we frequently saw wildlife on the Moose-Wilson rd. Our highlight was seeing a moose right in the parking lot by our apartment. We also enjoyed floating down the Snake River with Solitude float trips and going to the Astoria Hot Springs. This beautiful location has so much to offer.
The unit is fine but very dated. Beds were adequate but not overly comfortable and furnishing were from the 1980s. We didn't cook but it would have been challenging because kitchen items were sparse. The draw of this place is the location. Otherwise it's very basic. Communication was excellent.
