Our Cove Retreat - Perfect for Wave-Free Swimming, Tanning & Prime Location Fun!

Just what we were looking for.

This was our second time staying in this unit this summer. Our first stay was fantastic; the second time around was disappointing. We arrived to a bunch of water leaking from the ceiling and fridge. The host was responsive and sent maintenance quickly but he just kind of shrugged and chalked it up to condensation (we used 5 beach towels to mop it up before he got there, that's a lot of condensation). I had actually already figured out it was a fridge hose that was leaking but he didnt agree. I had asked to switch to a different unit but they were full. We ended up managing the water all weekend by putting a beach towel over the leak and then swapping it out every four hours or so. We spent a lot of vacation time doing laundry to have clean towels, as a result. The other issue we had was that the floors in the unit were disgusting. We have little kids and within a few minutes of being there they had black feet and hands. We had to buy cleaning supplies and spend time cleaning floors, surfaces, and bath mats (two cycles in the wash because the water was black the first time). Again, not our idea of a fun vacation.We spend several weekends in the area every summer. There is a lot to like about this unit - well stocked, great dock and lake location, etc, but given our recent experience, I'm not sure we would choose to rent this unit again.

Came down for a long holiday weekend and this place didn't disappoint. Well stocked, clean, and dog friendly. We'll be staying agin.

This property is in a great location!! We loved it and would stay there again! The only issue we had was with oir door code.

We stayed over the 4th of July, and it was perfect! Very clean and updated condo on the lake. Great location, lots of friendly neighbors in the tranquil cove. Great spot for relaxing on the water. We will be back!

We all had a great time we definitely would do the lake house again such a great vacation place to stay at

Perfect condo for a getaway for two people. Kitchen was immaculate as were the rooms. Cozy and a warm welcoming place to stay. Will be back for sure!

What we looked for in our first trip to the area. Accommodations were clean, well stocked and well maintained in an area we wanted. Communication was excellent

Absolutely beautiful view and interior. Perfect location! We loved fishing and swimming at the dock. The outdoor patio overlooking the water while grilling was perfect. Pamela was a wonderful host and always a phone/text away if in need of help.
