Oceanview Penthouse Condo Just 50 Yards From the Beach! A/C, Pool, Hot Tub, Gym

Great stay in Poipu! This condo is in an excellent location with many amenities. Good communication with our host, Erick and easy check in. Kiahuna Plantation is beautiful, nicely maintained and very quiet. So close to an amazing beach! Walkable to the athletic club, shopping, and several dining options. This condo could use a little maintenance. Bathroom needs some attention, as the floor around the tub looks to have had some water damage over time. Sofa and chairs are uncomfortable, and the current furniture set up makes it hard to enjoy the small TV from all areas of the living room space. A new curtain rod would help to improve the function of the blackout curtains. The kitchen is well stocked, appliances worked well, and a bonus having a full sized refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker. The bedroom roomy enough for the two of us. We were able to use the good sized dresser, side tables and a portion of the closet for our clothes. The mattress is comfortable. We would definitely return to this rental again.

We had such a great experience staying at this property! Check in was a breeze and all the amenities. Even though we didn’t utilize, it was a nice treat to have some streaming services available. Host and front desk were very attentive and checked in with us upon arrival and before we left to assure our needs met. Ocean and sunset was lovely from our balcony was magnificent. Another added bonus was the ability to view luau nearby. Thanks for having us and would highly recommend.

My wife and i have stayed on the island before and this was the best experience we have had yet. The owners were prompt in answering questions. The property was amazing. We will be going back next year!

This is our second time staying at this plantation. This condo was definitely better than our last choice. We absolutely love the location, convenience, cleanliness, and access to the beach! This time, I also specifically chose a top floor corner unit, and this is definitely the way to go. Much more quiet! This condo also had lots of extras like beach chairs and boogie boards. My daughter slept on the pull out couch and it was great for us overall!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay!the Unit is stocked with everything we needed to have fun at the beach and it truly is steps away from one of the nicest beaches on the island.

We loved our stay at this condo. It was in a great location just steps from the nice beach in front of the condo complex and a short walk to Poipu beach. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. It made our beach time very easy and convenient. It was also within walking distance to several good restaurants. The unit itself was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the lanai. It was great to eat outside and have a view of the ocean. We did have to run the air conditioner pretty cool in the main area to cool off the bedroom at night, but it was sufficient. The bathroom could use updating but it was very clean and functional. Would definitely stay here again.

Owners were very responsive to any questions and reimbursed for laundry as laundry building under renovation. Grateful for A/C. Close to a great beach, restaurants. No pool on property but free new healthclub across the street (walkable) that does have a pool and drink/food! Def recommend!

Pros: 1. Beautiful and tranquil peekaboo ocean view through the beautiful big trees. 2. Comfortable king bed. 3. Very close walk to the beach. 4. Wonderful lanai to sit and relax. 5. The A/C unit was very nice and worked well. 6. Nice view of banana plants out the kitchen and eating area. 7. Nice Kauai art and other pictures all around inside. A nice touch. 8. Beautiful property with lush tropical foliage and huge beautiful Mimosa trees all around. Cons: 1. Bathroom needs updating and door needs repaired where it’s coming apart by the doorknob. The sharp wood peeling off the door pokes you if you miss the doorknob in the dark. 2. Old toilet doesn’t flush well and the water sticks on often and we had to take the top off often to fix it. That old toilet should be replaced with one that flushes well with new technology. For half the cost of one night stay this toilet could be replaced. We expected better than this. 3. Toilet plunger needs to be replaced. It’s so old and hard it took all my man weight to be able to barely make it work. 4. The sofa hide a bed in living room is not comfortable to sit on. It’s old and chairs near the couch are not comfortable either and are soiled looking. 5. The rug under the coffee table is dirty and should be cleaned or replaced. 6. The curtains to the lanai are very difficult to move and you have to be standing up on a chair to be able to move them either way. Very Frustrating. Maybe a metal rod would help them slide? Definitely

We loved this condo for its convenient location. The bed was comfortable and our kids even said the pull out was comfortable. The mini split AC was very nice to have as we weren’t getting much of a breeze in the unit. We would stay again.
