Stayed Feb 10, 2024We really enjoyed this property. The location can be a long way from everything and with road construction there can be heavy traffic. Otherwise, the enjoyed the property and surrounding area quite a bit!

Stayed Jan 19, 2024This place did not disappoint. Wonderful location and so clean. Our 2 year old was able to run around on the grass and loved looking at all the fish in the near by pond. The condo was well equipped with kitchen supplies. We did have to buy beach toys and an umbrella for the kids but that was the only thing they didn’t have. We are hoping to stay here again!

Stayed Dec 25, 2023Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Good: The corner ground unit is perfectly located at the resort, you can unload your costco run and reload for the beach real easy, without disturbing the parking lot flow, the way it is situated. Best part is I didn't get any creepy crawly friends inside despite being a ground unit which is very unusual from my other experiences, so great pest control. The unit is updated in all the right ways. Anything that was not awesome about the unit will likely be corrected in time.The Bad: There were some very minor maintenance issues that were small nuisance, kitchen faucet was loose, AC was a bit touchy, and screw loose on bedroom door so it would close all the way and not a screwdriver in sight. Also, the place did not seem very lived in, as in it was bare of kitchen non-perishables. Only thing when we arrived was nearly empty salt-pepper shakers, not even hot mitt for the oven. We left a few containers and pool tubes to help with the next guests though. Also, the washing machine sounded like a jet engine warming up on spin cycle, as I said above though, all these things will likely be fixed in time.

Stayed Oct 29, 2023This is a great corner unit right across from the front office. The unit was very clean and well appointed, with a beach themed decor. It had everything we needed for the week, with quality linens and a couple nice little touches from the Property Mgmt. Co. The dining table had a drop-leaf on each side, allowing me to set up my laptop and work comfortably. We loved being able to walk from the patio right out to the pool and ocean. Did I mention the gorgeous sunsets?! We would definitely stay in the this unit again.

Stayed Feb 1, 2023We love the Papakea Resort. The grounds and buildings are maintained extremely well. Our condo was very clean with an excellent mattress. Our condo was centrally situated between the rest of our family. Was so convenient for our grandchildren. We look forward to a repeat vacation like this.
