Everyone there, employees and guests are so very friendly and I'll stay there again and again! Would have stayed a few days longer but facility was closed due to some repairs.

They supplied everything we needed for the beach, towels, umbrella and chairs. The condo and condo grounds were clean and comfortable. The patio allowed for cooking on the grill and tables to enjoy dinner at the beach. Many people used this amenity which allowed us to chat with other guests. It was a good location that allowed us to get from place to place without long travel times.

It is walking to beach distance. There are some swimming boards for kids too. The washer and dryer is in a public area and the parking lot is tight for people from the south:-). Overall all these are manageable. We had a great time there.

Suffice it to say we are beyond thrilled to have found the South side of the island to be so much better. Sun every day, trade winds in the afternoon, mere steps from the pool to the ocean - the best of both worlds! We loved the central location and saw much more of the island than ever before - Kihei Sands is a great jumping-off spot for planning adventures. The condo was clean and comfortable and the gardens in the breezeway were gorgeous - they should charge admission to walk through! Staff was always available for recommendations on what to see and do. We will definitely be back!

Reviewer Comments: While our initial reactions upon check-in were 'the pool is smaller than we thought' and 'maybe the room is too small for our family of 4' and 'our early check-in seems to have irritated the staff', we are ultimately very happy with our stay and absolutely would come again. We stay in a Kaanapali timeshare for a week every year and then move to Kihei for 3-4 days and like to try out different airBnBs/VRBOs. It's windier in this location, which makes the ocean right outside choppier, but it also keeps the air cooler. Wonderful to be able to be on the sand from our room in 30 seconds. While the pool is on the smaller size, we really loved the lounge area next to it- the lounges are in great shape with plenty of both shady and sunny options. We didn't barbecue or but the shared dining patio completely negates the need for an individual patio attached to our unit. It was quiet and intimate and never crowded. The A/C in both bedrooms and living room worked very well and kept us quite cool at night. It doesn't reach the bathrooms which can get a tad warm, but didn't bother us. The kitchen was very well equipped- from dishes to pans to utensils to ice packs in the freezer (we were just at another rental that gave us the bare minimum). Particularly delightful was the area under the outdoor stairs with toys, floats, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and sand toys for community use. These are available to anyone staying at the facility, in addition to anything provided in the room. Our room had 4 tommy bahama chairs for use (2 brand new in plastic), a cooler, a beach bag and an umbrella. We always feel guilty leaving behind perfectly good toys or unused food/drinks, so I liked being instructed to leave behind unopened food in the fridge, and toys with the other. It was also a nice touch to see several bottles of sunscreen available for anyone's use.

Love this place! Close to flea market, swap meet, groceries & restaurants. But loved just to lay on the beach and by the pool! Definitely a great place to relax also.
