Certified since 1973. Please note that all BBQ's in the Pelican condos have been removed due to HOA policy.
great location, we love being on that end of the beach of Pelican point, easy access to walk way to the beach. First time at this condo, it was very clean, stocked, two TV's. Kitchen had everything we needed for perparing meals. no issues, everything worked, only thing is the bed was a queen size and not very comfortable.
Quiet, clean relaxing interior and exterior. Loved that we could easily walk down to the beach from our first-floor condo. A bit confusing finding the office for check-in as the condo resort is a bit spread out but we found our way. One small suggestion is to use a softer brand of tissues (the current brand is especially rugged).
We loved staying here. Right by the ocean and beautiful view of dunes and water. Would love to return soon.
Cute place, great location, was able to walk out the back slider and down a short path and be on the beach. The beach is quiet and we found so many fun treasures. My 5 year old loved the pull out coach. Bed was okay but noisy. Only thing I would recommend is bring your own pillows, theirs are hard and flat. Overall really enjoyed our stay!
Quick drive from the Bay Area with nice ocean view.
Resort was built in the 70's and maintenance of the exterior of many of the buildings is lacking. Old weathered appearances. Very confusing check in process and security was less than pleasant. Condo was clean but bath tub needs updating. Views from the condo are great and beach is+ 1 mile from the public access Last 3 miles of road to the resort is horrible. Ruts and poor paving plus excessive agricultural traffic and workers. Resort security seems good though. You get what you pay for.
We enjoyed the view of the dunes, ocean and so many birds from this nice condo. It was unfortunate to not be notified that the BBQ on the deck couldn’t be used but it was too windy anyway. I’d stay here again for the solitude and lovely view.
When you first walk in theres a stink as if the carpets had mold. The spoons in the drawers were dirty so you’d definitely need to rewash. The bedroom was dark and it was difficult to open the window to get air… we ended up sleeping in the living room the entire stay to get fresh air. The neighbors were noisy and for some odd reason taking photos outside the patio… they say you can’t smoke however someone was smoking which we could smell from the living room yet we didn’t want to close window cause it smelled too stuffy inside too. Overall I wouldn’t book this place again and didn’t get a chance to enjoy our stay. Don’t bother wasting your $…
Overall great time at one of our favorite places. Condo was a good size for two of us plus our 2 month old baby girl. Had all the basic amenities you would need. Prolixity to the pathway was great for us! Can’t see much from the deck other than the dunes, but still nice. Wish the condo was slightly updated. Biggest complaint would be the bed & couch. Both were very hard/uncomfortable and didn’t make for great relaxing. Otherwise we were content and happy to just be at the beach! Communication for booking was wonderful and the team got back to us very quickly. Happy for the chance to escape the heat and enjoy the ocean air.
This was comfortable and accommodating. I loved the well stocked kitchen and the proximity to the beach
Just fine. Perfectly fine beach condo nothing fancy. Lots of small broken things. Could use a little TLC to make it really nice. Vrbo gives wrong address to check in. Beach access is really great and easy.
View & access to ocean was great & convenient. Bedding such as queen bed, was extremely hard. Felt as if i were sleeping on a board. Same goes for the Hide a bed, extremely hard. So if you don’t want to wake up hurting every morning, I would not recommend this place.
The apartment had all needed items and was decorated meticulously.
We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed at this condo!
Check-in process was a bit confusing, we had to check in at 3 separate places before actually getting keys/parking pass etc. Bed was a little uncomfortable. But other than that, the unit was great and the views were amazing, easy access to Santa Cruz and Monterey. Just what we needed for a weekend getaway!
Very nice room. Good location and quiet. Liked seeing all the pelicans coming home to their home every evening.
This was our first time at the Pajaro Dunes resort and the check-in process was a little cumbersome and confusing but the staff was helpful and pleasant. We felt secure and parking was plentiful. The location we chose was at the end of the community and not as close to the main check in area where there is a small shop for basic amenities and free rental of videos, games, etc. It was very quiet during our stay and we enjoyed the fresh ocean air every day. The unit was perfect for our needs. It came well-equipped with kitchen tools, dinnerware and cooking supplies, including oil, salt and pepper and K-cups for the Keurig! What a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was a bit small with lack of counter space and was outdated but we made due with what was available. The unit was clean and nicely decorated with beach decor. A friendly tip for anyone who books this unit, be aware that extra blankets are kept in the coffee table in the living room area. There were plenty of pillows for our needs. Linen was clean and fresh smelling. The best part was being able to enjoy coffee on the open deck area while my husband grilled and the kids went to play on the beach, collecting shells. This is definitely on my list of places to come back to. Perfect location in between Santa Cruz and Monterey.
