Oceanfront Oasis with Stunning Views 2BR 2 BR

Location was terrific - close to resorts (food, amenities) but not in the middle of them. Close to marathon, which was purpose for visit. Lovely view. Super clean. Great spot. Only issue was the high service fee which almost doubled the per night rate, but that seems to be the way it goes these days!

Loved watching the whales and swimming in the warm pool. Definitely needs more dishes, especially ones that are microwaveable. It would be nice to have shampoo, conditioner and body gel included. First time that I haven’t had them included. The view is amazing. Nice to have parking too.

We stayed for 3 nights before traveling to Kauai. I wish we had stayed here for our entire trip! This condo is beautifully decorated and is in a good location. The sunsets were amazing. We saw many whales breathing & breeching every few min throughout the day from the balcony. Take your binoculars or zoom lens, as they are a little far away but easy to spot if you take a few min to just relax and watch for them. We may have all fought over the egg chair as it’s very comfy! The drive to the condo is miles of driving seaside & it’s breathtaking. It was 80ish during our visit and it was warm when we came back each afternoon, but a few min after opening the doors and windows it cooled off quickly. There is a sliding door on the backside where others can walk by. We left it closed the first night as we didn’t realize there is a lock to prevent it from opening more than a few inches and we were warm. The following night we found the lock and were very comfortable with it locked open. It’s wild what a difference those few inches make for airflow throughout the entire condo. For reference we live in NC where our winters average around 45 and summers in upper 90’s. Our home thermostat is always set to 65. I was a little worried about the lack of AC, especially with my mid 40’s personal summers that hit in the middle of the night. We were all comfortable with the front windows open and the back door slightly ajar as described above. We would absolutely stay again even without AC.

Check-in was easy. Enjoyed the condo, beautiful views, comfy beds, comfortable furniture. Surprised by the coffee, tea, laundry soap, dishwasher soap provided. Lots of extra towels. Watched whales each morning from the lanai, and watched sunsets from the lanai which was a great spot to eat dinner. Other reviews complained of lack of plates, the 3 of us did fine with the 7 there (no cutting board though). Glad there was a lot of plastic storage containers for extra food. The sliding door in the spare bedroom got a little hard to close near the end of 2 weeks. No problems with opening sliding doors in both bedrooms for cross ventilation. The bedroom tv is not connected to cable or internet and have to unplug to turn off. Spent a few hours on 2 different days with Spectrum getting internet and cable hooked up to living room tv. The host is not local and will respond within a few days. The location is quiet with less traffic than further south. Several restaurants and stores are within easy walking distance. Except for our issues with tv connectivity it was an enjoyable stay, would return to this condo.

The property is nice and well stocked. The location is amazing!! The dishwasher and laundry pods were a great feature and very much appreciated. The sliding doors in the bedrooms were problematic (1 never opened at all, given there’s no ac would’ve been better if this would have opened). Overall it’s a great property and we would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. However, the owner needs to supply more plates, bowls, etc. There was only two of us but a family of 4 or more would not have enough. Also, we had to immediately go purchase soap and shampoo. There was none. There was a TV in the bedroom but it wasn’t even plugged in and no batteries in the remote. Sliding doors are extremely hard to get open. Overall the condo was very clean.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Place was comfortable and had nice ceiling fans to keep unit cool. Excellent ocean views from condo and from nice/large lanai. Unit is on 2nd floor. Hololani complex is in good location in Kahana - walking distance to many things. Underground assigned parking was nice. Unit is next to elevator and was convenient. Living/dining/kitchen area was nicely furnished and decorated. Bedrooms too. Bathrooms are a bit small, but good water pressure. Had trouble with unit maintenance as sliding door to lanai from master bedroom was broken/not working. contacted owner, who did respond quickly about it but the problem was never fixed during our stay - which was a bummer not to be able to open and get ocean breeze in bedroom. Maybe some more plates needed? there were only 3 small plates. Nice to have coffee and tea there for us and laundry pods - washer/dryer was very nice. Note no soap/conditioner/bath gel - bring your own. Only thing we did not like is 2nd bedroom has glass windows/sliding door that opens directly onto the common outdoor walkway - so no privacy. Kept door/curtains shut entire time - so no breezes. there is no private balcony area - so a bit odd to have it open to common condo area walkway- better to just have a window that opens with levers as other places have - but that is not owner's fault - just an oddity of the complex design. the pool area is nice and had 3 bbqs. complex was well maintained.

Book this place! It was great! The view is amazing, the neighborhood is quiet, the beds are really comfortable. Having large doors on both sides of the apartment makes it quick and easy to cool the rooms off in the evening with the winds (we have stayed elsewhere that only had tiny windows on one side, which did nothing to keep the place cool-this is so much better!). The kids loved the pool, which was never crowded. Napili Beach is a two minute drive. It was great to have 3 beach chairs and an umbrella to use, and even a snorkel. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood if you don't feel like cooking, or head down to the other end of Lower Honoapiilani Road and grab some tasty takeout at the food truck park. I sat on the balcony every morning drinking my tea and watching the whales - sheer bliss. We were even treated to a huge double rainbow on our first morning!

Beautiful apartment, stunning views of the sunset, with comfortable beds, great bathrooms, plenty of towels, beach chairs, etc. The location is very close to lovely Napiili beach where we swam with turtles. We would stay here again, highly recommend it! Thank you, Christi!
