Oceanfront Nohonani w/ Lanai & Pool - Steps to Private Beach

This is our second year staying here. We love the location, the pool, and the beach! We are a family of 8 and the unit fit us well. We love it here! There were some issues with the condo, but the property management company were incredibly helpful, quick to respond, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the location and the view, it is right on the beach, with waves coming right up to the property. It was a very nice touch to have our own private washer and dryer. Having 4 separate beds was nice. This could be a 5 star stay. Unfortunately there are issues mentioned from way back that have never been dealt with, it just feels like no one really cares about up keep on this place. For the price it really seems like there would be plenty to go towards a few simple updates. -The third step is still loose and a trip and fall hazard (others have mentioned this, but it still is not fixed). Please be cautious if you stay here, it would not be fun to fall and break a leg on holiday! -The loft ceiling fan does not work (Others have mentioned this, and it gets hot upstairs with no AC) - The kitchen is very tiny, you need to open the fridge door in order to open the cabinet drawls next to it. - The curtain on the downstairs balcony door is, old, stained and coming off the track, and not big enough to cover up all the glass. This allows all the light in very early in the morning. - Light switches are confusing and hard to find. The kitchen light is under the stairs on the trim board between the closet doors. Make note of this if you choose to stay here so you don't spend as much time as we did looking for it. - Downstairs bedside lamp doesn't work - There is a big hole in the door to the downstairs bedroom, no intimacy when there are kids in the house. - The pictures on the website show the pool chairs lined up on the beach however there is a sign posted that we are not allowed to move the pool chairs to the beach. So if those web picture look like you can relax on the beach and you are looking forward to that, bring your own chairs - It would be very nice to have a ceiling light in the living area. The middle of the room is so dark to play games or work on puzzles. - The sofa bed upstairs has braces out of place or something isn't right on it. It was so uncomfortable that our son had to sleep sideways on the bed. (This was mentioned by others, its time to fix it) - AC would be a very nice addition, depending what time of the year, it can get a bit warm especially upstairs and for sleeping at night. We were there at the end of May beginning of June and it was borderline too hot to be comfortable. - The only dinning place is on the balcony and there are only 6 chairs, so if it is a rainy day or you have more than 6 in your party there is no place to sit and eat - It is nice to be right on the beach, but the beach area is very small and when the tide is up you can not walk anywhere but right by the pool area. When the tide is out you can walk on down the beach. If these issues do not matter to you, then you could have a very nice stay here. I just want others to be aware so you can make a good choice on where you choose to stay.

It was a pleasant and peaceful location. The view of the ocean from the lani was spectacular.We could even see whales from the lani. ASea turtle came up on the beach to sun one day also. Plenty of roomfor everyone, and privacy as well. We all just enjoyed the entire week.

Great location and fantastic views from the lanai. The unit was clean when we arrived but we were expecting it to be a little nicer. New appliances but refrigerator is to big for the space do to open all the silverware drawers you need to open the refrigerator door to pull them out. Investing in new deck chairs and table would make the area so much nicer.Also the listing said there are beach chairs which there were know do we had to rent some beach chairs . Also no bogie board that was listed.

Amazing view. Waves lulling us to sleep! TURTLES everywhere and whales spotted. Lovely accomodation with pleanty of room for our party of 8 Convenient to get to beaches, stores and some great little restaurants.little but very clean pool.

We made the mistake of not checking to see if this unit had air conditioning. Beware that the air flow isn’t great in the unit, constantly sweating. The pull out couch beds were uncomfortable with broken metal rods pushed into the upper back, the legs were positioned in a downward slope which placed increased pressure on the lower back causing those who slept in that had to be in pain the remainder of the trip.

I was extremely hesitate about this rental do to my brothers room in the same complex being canceled 3 days before our stay. They canceled because the complex is under construction. Well we never heard back from the manager. We attempted several times. It all worked out it was great. Clean and never heard the construction even though it was next door. I recommend this place, it had a great beach. Snorkeling was awesome. Walking distance to many restaurants and stores.

Relative to the price of other condos, this is a great value. It is fully furnished down to an iron and ironing board. The view is incredible. The location is great. Just a few miles in any direction is plenty of beaches, food, and shopping. I will definitely book this exact condo again.

Loved the location and the unit, but felt we should have been informed of the serious construction upfront, either prior to booking or directly in the body of the confirmation email. Including it through a secondary link seemed deceitful and the construction was a safety hazard, especially with a two year old.
