Oceanfront East Winds Condo w/ Ocean View, Balcony, W/D & Direct Beach Access

The best part of our stay was the beautiful ocean view. Although the outdoor chairs were falling apart. The railing on the balcony was so wobbly we didn’t go near it. The condo was dirty, old, musty smelling. The inside of the refrigerator was rusty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The chairs at the breakfast table were wicker held together with duct tape, literally. There were several remotes for the tv and none had batteries in them that worked. The kitchen “supples” were dirty as if they were not cleaned. Bed linens were stained. It was truly an awful experience….. and we are campers. Not picky at all.

I would not recommend this property. The balcony door was virtually impossible to close. The furniture was in very poor condition. Needs to be completely updated and repaired.

Beds were uncomfortable the condo is a little outdated but for the price it was not bad. The view was absolutely beautiful

The view was great the condo itself I could pass on. Bedding was nice beds were terribly squeaky, couch had stains and the outside furniture has no padding so very hard and uncomfortable. Very little selection of pots, pans and silverware.

This is by far the worst condo we have ever rented at the beach. The kitchen light worked half the time, tv did not work, sliding door very hard to slide, no towel bars to hang bath towels, floor was swept but not mopped you knew that every time you took a shower your feet bottoms were black with dirt, we had to wash every pot, pan and dishes we wanted to use dirty with dried food on them, and no place to store food for the week so it had to stay on the table. The burner on the stove was broken. What was supposed to be a fun last trip to the beach for my wife it was very unenjoyable. The leasing agent was contacted daily by me and the only issue fixed was the stove burner. I would not recommend this unit as is, it is dated and needs a renovation.

Great location, bedroom air conditioner smells when turned on and kitchen garbage disposal in sink smells, but overall good time

The screen for the sliding door was off, leaning against the door. Both air conditioners need cleaned, has mold on the vents and filters need replaced. NO WiFi or Television ( would have been nice to use on the rainy evenings) A few other minor problems that could have been fixed with a few bulbs.

This was our fourth time at that place. In four years nothing inside the apartment got better or got fixed. The shower curtain was STILL HANGING ON 6 rings!!! I finally went and bought the rings. The couch got simply filthy and we had to cover it with a blanket to sit on it. When opened as a bed two corners of the mattress were falling through. One of the beds has such an old mattress it squeaks every time you move. We already know to bring our own kitchen utensils, pots and pans. The apartment has some but they are extremely low quality. The door to the bedroom got jammed with my daughter inside and we had to kick it in. The half bathroom toilet didn’t flush properly, although it was replaced a year ago during our visit (was leaking then) Basically, everything in the apartment is falling apart, so if you are used to fancy lodging it’s not for you. THE VIEW - is simply amazing. For us, that and the closeness to the beach is the important part.

The view. Room was ok. Needs to be updated! The biggest complaint…. This condo is supposed to be smoke free and no way was it smoke free. Every floor you could smell someone smoking or smoking marijuana everywhere! Disgusting. Will never stay at Eastwinds. I’m not a tv fan but thank god I’m not because the tv is 25 inch!

Even after reading all the negative reviews from two years ago, we took a leap of faith and booked this property. All the bad things have surely been fixed in two years, right? Wrong. This property is the dirtiest, most outdated rental unit we’ve ever booked. The dishwasher is filthy, the kitchenware and appliances are all old and dirty, the oven hood is absolutely gross with grease, the closets are (still) packed with broken lamps, VHS tapes, and artwork and are completely unusable, lamps were broken, the balcony screen door is ripped open letting bugs in, and so much more. The dresser drawers were dirty inside, including body hair from previous renters, so we just lived out of our suitcases for five days. We actually almost cut our vacation short and returned home because of how dirty this place was. The sheets and towels seemed clean, but that was about it. Dirty towels from the previous renter remained piled up outside our front door through our entire five-day stay. Seems like we spent half our vacation not touching any surfaces. This is our first time using Vacasa, and since we now know that this level of quality is considered acceptable, it will be our last. I've contacted Vacasa three times with photos, and have received no response. Previous reviewers note how filthy this place is, and that you're paying for the location. While beachfront access was great, it'd be much cleaner to just sleep outside on the beach. Do not book this property.
