beautiful and nice inside ..so beachy, This is a great place
This home has a lot of potential but needs to have a good serious deep cleaning. The washer, dishwasher, screen door, was all broken and not functioning when arrived. The washer was giving an error code and the dishwasher ended up flooding the kitchen, as the door was very difficult to shut therefore didn’t seal correctly. The door locks on entry and balcony were broken which was a concern because we had small children. I notified Vacasa and they sent someone out to repair the washer, dishwasher, and door locks as well as address the cleaning issues. The repairman showed and fixed the washer by pulling it out and unplugging it from the wall. We continue to have to do this at least 3 other times. They said they would have to get a part for the dishwasher and would be back Monday however it had been installed wrong not allowing the door to close properly. I inquired again mid week and a repairman called me to let me know someone would need to let him in the building, which wasn’t a problem. Never heard back from this person to schedule a time. The couch had a very bad body odor to it and we had to place a blanket over the left side to prevent the smell. The master bath had mold around the tub, no shower curtain, cob webs hanging in corners. The vent in the kitchen had mold around it as well. None of these issues was addressed during our stay. This is vacation…you shouldn’t have to worry about this kind of stuff while on vacation. Just ridiculous!
The condo itself is a great location! The condo we stayed in was overall okay, however, the cleaning crew needs to do a better job. It looked like no one had dusted in years. There were hairs randomly all over the floors/bathtubs. We had some water tracked in on the floor from the pool, wiped it up with a towel and the towel was Black. I would not recommend staying here for the price. I would for sure check out other places in that area bc the location was awesome! Across the road from Barefoot Landing and hardly any traffic on the road

We enjoyed this property and especially its view. The 2 bathrooms worked out for our 2 families. The kitchen was recently updated and was nice. The master bath needs new curtain and caulking. TVs in each room was nice, just needed more cords for the disc players, new batteries for remotes & updated to Blueray. The property says the front door is unlocked during the day but is not. Very inconvenient for 2 families when they give you 1 key. The key drop off at the end needs rethought, would suggest a Dropbox at the property or to the maintenance guy. The 2 pools were great for our young kids (from the beach to the pool many times each day…). Overall very well maintained. Located very convenient to Barefoot Landing and short drive to Boardwalk. Tons of restaurants near.
Positives: unit clean, grounds well kept, easy beach access, great view of ocean, nice pool area, efficient elevators, end unit so no noise from other renters. Nice balcony area, good parking. . Negatives: front restroom toilet flushed very poorly, kitchen has a slow drain, air conditioning is locked so that unit will not cool below 72 degrees. This is unacceptable when you have several people trying to prepare for an evening out plus heat from washer/dryer. Back bedroom very poorly ventilated with no fan. Key process is a pain from having to pick up at a different location from where you are staying to having to return it to that location. Doors need to be updated to a code system. One key per unit not acceptable. I understand this is a HOA rule but the condo owners pay into that HOA and should have more of a say in decisions. This condo worked for a quick weekend getaway but I would not stay here again on a longer trip.
was a nice place, a little smaller than expected but work for our family of 8. over all cleanliness was good , place need alot of updating with furniture and dressers and kitchen cupboards. the washer also should be replaced since it was riddled with mold which is common with a front loading washer if not properly taken care of over the years. overall was a great location. stay and process. bed mattress was very comfy to sleep in so that was a plus.
building was older but expected from Myrtle. room was clean. everything worked. no shortage of water pressure or hot water. the surrounding building are all smaller units which made for a less crowded beach. you can see up and down the coast where the bigger builders were, the beaches were packed. pool area was nice with plenty of lounge chairs. also no issues with parking. there is plenty of space directly across the street. minutes from barefoot landing.
We had a great stay. The condo was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Great pools and beach access.
