Great location, amazing view, everything is close.
Just let me get this out there! If your body isn’t cold blooded you will be hot and unable to sleep well! The AC is WEAK and LEAKS! Also, The balcony blinds that are half broken off so only HALF way keeps the sun out doesnt help with blocking heat. So, the uncomfortable COUCH BED is where you’ll need to sleep to even SLIGHTLY feel cool air (that I’ve had running at 63 but feels like 73) Did I mention the broken balcony blinds?! Okay- how about no balcony light either so you won’t see the tiny end table and 2 chairs out there once it’s dark out. Let’s make our way to the front door! Brace yourself- it does NOT open or close without you having to ram your body into it bc it’s literally scraping on and getting stuck by the floor!!! So it’s LOUD and challenging- every time you use it!! There’s some prison flat pillows to rest your head on and take a nap in the nice refreshingly hot room and well… that’s about it. Tiny TV on the wall but the fridge, microwave, stove and coffee pot works. Water gets hot enough …
Bed was broken, ac was broke THIS IS the start of the trip. The entire experience was essentially staying in a medieval hut. Don’t even get me started on the sand fleas on the couch pull out mattress. Maintenance knew about the bed and the ac, didn’t say anything to us BEFORE— however they did show up to fix the bed with no knowledge we had booked a room. My guy even inquired to US about the air conditioner still being broken. “They haven’t fixed that YET” Wanted us to leave at ten am, BUT one elevator STAYED out of order the entire duration of the trip, there were no carts to put our stuff on. The “resort” was so packed we had to park ACROSS THE STREET MULTIPLE TIMES. IDK if you’ve ever carried a child across the street to a resort that has one elevator broken, no carts to put supplies on, just to put him on a bed that may or may not give him bug bites. My favorite part was the offer of amenities. Hot tub. Didn’t work. Beach access. What a freaking joke. It was drying paint for five days. That means having to walk into the public park where homeless people and drug addicts falling asleep on the sides of the steps were just relaxing. Loved the sight of someone naked going to sleep under the slide. Family vacation? Oh buddy. This was national lampoons. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be back and will definitely start informing anyone who is coming to Daytona about the special trip we took. Gross mismanagement of properties. Complete negligence on multiple issues.
Loved the easy access to the beach and the private balcony towards it. the building itself is a little sketchy but overall , really enjoyed the condo and waking up to the waves! also parking can be a challenge if staying out late so be prepared.
