Set in a coveted oceanfront location, this ocean-view condo offers a stylish vacation experience that design enthusiasts will love. Walk across the street to the beach to swim, surf, or stroll along the cliffs. Plus, enjoy access to all the amenities at the La Jolla Recreation Center, which is mere steps away.
This condo has peak coastline and whitewater views, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of natural sunlight from expansive windows - not to mention ocean breezes to keep you cool. An expansive great room welcomes you and is detailed with a sectional and TV in the living room.
The well-equipped kitchen features granite countertops and a full suite of appliances. Two ocean-view dining areas offer plenty of space to enjoy meals or fun game nights. Two bedrooms have king beds and the third guest room has a queen bed. One full bathroom includes a tub/shower combination, while the second bathroom has a large walk-in shower. All bedrooms and bathrooms feature premiere linens for ultimate comfort. Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air-conditioning.
This property is located in a complex with multiple vacation rentals. All spaces within the complex, such as the grill, patios, and laundry area, are communal.
Right next to The Museum of Contemporary Art, you'll be between Windansea and La Jolla Cove Beaches - with abundant sea life between. Take a short walk to La Jolla Village for fine dining, upscale shops, art galleries, museums, and spas. Or, explore world-class attractions like the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and Balboa Park - all within 20 minutes.
Things to Know
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Size of the flat and it's proximity to the beach and central La Jolla can't be beat; however, it looks nothing like the photos. The flat is in dire need of a refresh but obviously the management property is unlikely to spend the money on it because they can keep renting it out as is and using outdated photos. The paint throughout is chipping, bathroom fixtures are rusty, the door of a shower doesn't properly open/close, there are scratches on the floors, a hole in the kitchen floor, and a cracked toilet seat. Street parking and shared laundry were easier than expected although you need a laundry code, which took us a while to get from Vacasa. This was our first family vacation post-Covid and we wanted to splurge on a fancier rental. We were excited to stay here but it was a disappointment in person. You are paying for the location. The space is good for a group/family but we would not stay here again.
The property felt safe. Fantastic location. Steps to the beach path. It was very clean. A couple things...toilet seat in main bathroom is cracked. Other guests have mentioned that but hasn't been fixed. Drain in tub in other bathroom is very sluggish. Needs cleaning. Third small bedroom needs a mirror and hooks for clothes. Otherwise..all good!
Right across the street from the beach, so many walkable restaurants to chose from, and the place was spotless!!!
We stayed for 10 nights and the location of this condo could not have been better. We were close to everything we could possibly need. There are tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the beach is right outside your door.
Physical key would have been better and location was not quite as it was advertised. Parking instructions were not clear enough

Location is very convenient, but we won’t go back to the same listing. Cleanliness inside was fine. We appreciate the soap and shampoo. The exteriors of windows were very dirty. Such a nice view it'd be nice to see. The screen door was old, rusty and in general disrepair. There's a hole/crack in a kitchen tile (pic provided to owners). Our daughter cut a heel on it. that should be addressed before next rental. The walls and ceiling are very thin. The couple next door we’re arguing several times Friday/Saturday. Screaming matches, cursing at each other. Besides almost calling the police for fear of their safety, it made us very uncomfortable. There was also noise from the folks on the 2nd floor playing music - beyond 11p Thursday night after a long travel day cross-country. The grate on the wall furnace furthest from the front door is very rusted (pic provided). Hazard and unsightly. On Day 2, the entry code no longer worked. Multiple attempts at contacting Mgmt via text went unanswered. Finally got a rep via phone after 20+ minute hold. We intended to check out Monday but instead left Sunday because of the noise and general lack of restful stay so we've moved up our next stop. I contacted the property Mgr with most of these concerns (via text, as they instructed) along with pictures of tile hole, screen, grate, but they offered no reply.
The place is in a very good location and is clean. But it is very misrepresented in the listing and especially the pictures. It’s extremely dated and in need of freshening up. The paint is chipping, screen doors are rusty and don’t close properly, bathroom fixtures are rusty and windows are peeling. Screens are missing in some roomed so couldn’t open windows. Bedrooms don’t have lamps or only one small task lamp and overhead lights are glaring. Furniture is sparse and very worn, nothing like the pictures. We were given three roles of toilet paper for four people for four days and one towel per person, not really enough. Overall, it was clean and nice location close to beach but I was very disappointed because the post made it look so much nicer, cozy, and updated.

This was a great location and it was surprisingly easy to find close parking. The unit was very clean, but could use updating. Walls are thin so from rooms are a bit loud.
Beautiful, quiet stay, just near everything and neat the beach!
Location is great. The place is a little spartan, but a good place to crash.
Some friends and I were in town for a wedding and wanted to experience La Jolla versus stay closer to the wedding. The location of this property is perfect. You can see and hear the ocean the second you step out the front door. There was plenty of space and you can walk to everything. Absolutely loved it.
We love this unit. This is our second time here and hope to come back again next year. We had a few issues that were immediately handled, and we appreciate their quick communication and handling. My family highly recommends
