We reserved this condo for a family vacation with our 3 children. It had almost everything we needed to be comfortable for a week. The owners left access to their beach umbrella, chairs, cooler, and beach toys. There were no washcloths in the unit, but I purchased a package at the local dollar store, so no big deal. Also, there were no beach towels, but we had packed our own. If you’re staying with an infant, please note there is no bathtub, only showers. However, the kitchen sick was perfect for baby baths. The unit was beautiful, and has an amazing view of the ocean. The balcony is huge! We were close to stores and everything we needed. The building was quiet and relaxed. We had an amazing stay!
Tv did not work in bedroom, needs to have a book on directions for tvs and stove,no kitchen rag just little sponge, no pillows I. M aster bdrm ONLY 1 Key 5 adults what a pain in ass that was.over all 3 1/2 star
Went for Jeep Beach and picked the perfect place to be close to events but far away from a lot of the traffic. Home is clean and quiet. Will try to stay again soon
We have stayed at many VRBO's, all of which I have rated 5 stars. The difference between those and this one is this is corporate-run, which is too bad because the family that owns it did do a nice job decorating it and remodeling it. The problem began the night of our arrival where we were directed to Vacasa's office to pick up our key in a dark parking lot and dark office that we had to use our phone flashlights to find the lockbox. Once we unlocked it we found they forgot to leave us a key. Calls and texts to them went unanswered so we had to find a hotel room to rent for the night. The next morning someone texted us and told us we didn't need a key from the lockbox, that we could go right to the property and there was a key code on the door. The next problem was that you need an actual key to access the condo building which we still didn't have. After many more calls and texts we finally got in around noon. I left messages for the local Vacasa manager who never bothered to return my call. The general number for Vacasa will leave you waiting 20-30 minutes to talk to anyone. Yesterday (17 days after we arrived and are now back home) I got my first return call from Vacasa saying they would pay for our hotel room but nothing further for all of the trouble we went through. After many hours during and after our vacation spent trying to contact them, including a supervisor who also never bothered to respond to my email, I can not recommend this location to rent. Daytona itself was great, just seek an owner-managed VRBO.
Condo was great! Everything was clean, new and the balcony was amazing! We loved the beach and it was never crowded. Would definitely recommend and go back again! The one negative would be that there is only one set of keys to get into the building. It was a juggling act if one adult/child wanted to go back to room while other was at the pool or beach. With that said - I would still go back again!
It was missing a few essential items like pot holders, spatulas, big spoons, whisks, etc. it made it really hard to cook, otherwise very comfortable and an amazing view.
Everything was fantastic!
Comfortable, modern, great view, better than in pictures. Sewer smell in master bath shower, drains very slow and showers fills up quickly to the brim, almost pours over, needs to be addressed.
We enjoyed the location & the unit very much . We feel like the check in process, could be a little smoother ; with better communication prior to arrival, as to the exact steps & codes needed to obtain the keys -codes required to gain access to the unit .
