Oceanfront Condo w/ Private Balcony, Resort Pool, Hot Tub, Elevator, Clubhouse

We loved our stay in this little condo. The view from the balcony was amazing. We loved sitting there just listening to the waves or watching the sunrise. One day we even enjoyed a dolphin show from a large pod of dolphins playing right off of the balcony. We rented bikes and were able to ride into town for coffee and dinner. We took the ferry to

Everything was great, sometimes if you left you could not find a parking space because so many outsiders came and used pool and beach.

Very laid back, really enjoyed the time we had.

This property was absolutely perfect for my boyfriend and I! We were so impressed with every aspect from how clean the condo was, how early we were told we could check in, the views from the back deck, the communication with the office staff. Everything was just fantastic! We consider Hatteras as another home and this past visit just solidified that even more! We will definitely be back to stay again!

Perfect off season beach condo

The advertised property included access to a hot tub, clubhouse, and laundry. When I arrived, the hot tub was not open, the clubhouse was locked, and laundry was unavailable. The employee who texted me to offer the combination to the unit did not answer my questions; instead said they would look into it and then provided no information. I waited for a response until Wednesday, when I went to the Sound or Sea Reality office to inquire about the location of the advertised amenities. Sherri attempted to assist me, however, was unable to offer access to the hot tub. I am asking for a partial refund of my rental fee. I selected the location based on the advertised amenities and was unable to access them. As a result, I departed the unit on Thursday instead of Saturday.

We had a wonderful week in Hatteras. Weather was beautiful Condo was very nice! Relaxing. We had one issue that was never addressed by Surforsound. Address did not include Durant Station as the name of the condo building. Also one morning we were woke up by saws and hammering in the condo balcony above us. They were replacing rotten boards and we had rotten wood and a bolt that fell down onto our balcony. We went to the pool to get away from the noise looked up and there was a guy on our balcony! No one had informed us they’d be in our condo which upset us. When we complained no one would return our calls or email! When someone rents a condo they should feel safe when they leave it that no one will be able to come in while they are away! It was an Invasion of privacy! When they put the sealer on the new wood they dropped it all over the rail of condo #210 railing and floor and didn’t clean up the mess. Please this needs to be dealt with. The railing looks bad and the owners would be upset if they saw it too. PLEASE respond to this to let us know you read it and something is done about it! Thank you!

Some very nice places to eat and places to shop but not much else to see in that area

Stay was great 2nd floor with nice ocean front view. Needs new bed it sinks in the middle. Otherwise the place was top notch

First and foremost this place is awesome! It was extremely clean, and check in was a breeze! Our room was ready early which was great! The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet low key getaway. The proximity to the beach is spot on and the balcony that overlooks the ocean is great too! I was extremely impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was, much more so than timeshares that I have used. This is just minutes away from the marina which made our chrter fishing adventures easy, and there are loads of great restaurants near by. Surf or Sound was fantastic and checked in the next day and even left us a box of OBX goodies half way though our stay. We can't wait to visit again!
