OCEANFRONT Condo & Pool, WALKABLE Dining, BEST Location

The location of the condo was perfect for our trip and the view was amazing. They did have some construction going on that resulted in the pool being closed, but the host worked with us to compensate for the pool not being available. The unit does need a few updates but for the most part it was a great stay, the condo was stocked with everything we needed.

This is THE BEST place to stay in Gulf Shores! I have stayed many, many places in Gulf Shores in my 56 years, and I will never stay anywhere else again. The view from the balcony is stunning, and the location is perfect! The pool is clean, quaint and charming. The condo is fully stocked with ANY and EVERYthing that you could ever think of, and then some. You literally only need to bring your clothes, toiletries and groceries, (including extra paper towels and TP. They supply 1 roll per bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels,) and that is it! It was clean, beautifully decorated and just overall, PERFECT! We will most definitely be back AT LEAST once a year! We give it a 10/10!

Four ladies ,three generations, stayed at this beachfront condo for 5 nights. Castaways is so close to the water. It was a very short boardwalk, a few steps on the beach and we were at the water’s edge! The balcony was so inviting being so close to the water. The condo needs to be updated in the living room area.. The ugly brown sofa and chair need to go. Also the ugly brown carpet in bedrooms. Baths and kitchen have been updated and are lovely. We appreciated all the condiments , coffee, etc. 'in the kitchen and the extra paper products and supplies . 'We ladies felt like we were visiting in someone’s home.

Beautiful ocean view and direct beach access. Great location. Walkable to shopping/restaurants. Easy drive to other attractions.Condo was equipped with anything you might need.

This is my second stay at this condo and I will definitely be back for the summer! I spent the weekend at this wonderful condo directly on the beach, and was able to walk to nearby restaurants and cute souvenir shops. I personally loved the Pink Pony Pub and The Hangout. There were also nice brunch places and coffee shops in walking distance. The condo itself is very clean and has many amenities. There are plenty of blankets and pillows, and the bedding is very comfortable. They provided more than enough kitchen supplies to cook with, and even had many seasonings to choose from. I enjoyed making a cup of coffee and sitting on the balcony with a great view in the morning. Toni was also very easy to communicate with. I am looking forward to returning to this beautiful condo.

The view from the condo was lovely. We enjoyed seeing pods of dolphins and gorgeous sunsets.However, the condo needs updating in the living room and kitchen. The sleeper sofa and chair in the living room were very uncomfortable, worn, and old. The kitchen is extremely small and narrow with peeling laminate countertops. There was a generous supply of utensils, appliances and cookware.The second bathroom had carpet, rather than tile by the sink. Not sure why same flooring for bath /toilet weren't used.The pool was advertised to be heated. The pool heater was not turned on until 2 days before we left in our 28 day stay. Very disappointing!When I contacted the owner about recliner, dogs in condo above us, and the construction/exterior painting, she was quick to respond. It would have been beneficial to know before we booked, that the building was under construction. We were subjected to daily noise of a hammer drill that reverberated throughout the entire building.

Exactly as described, right on the beach, there were even beach toys for the kids! Wonderful stay!

The room was comfortable and homie for a group of 6! The pool was fun for the family. But when we got there to check in, it was late in the evening and the downstairs was dark like a dungeon but once we got the the room it was wonderful!

Great stay for our 50th girls trip! Condo was clean and was within walking distance of lots of fun places to eat.

Condo was clean and right on the beach. Close to restaurants and stores. Roomy and comfortable with great views and all the amenities. Definately will return here in the future.

We stayed 4 nights. Location is great. Close to everything. Condo had everything you could need. Condo needs updating, furniture is old and not comfortable to relax on. Beds were not comfortable. Would be better if the master bedroom had a king size bed rather than 2 full/queen beds.
