Oceanfront Condo in the Heart of Nye Beach-Steps to the Best Restaurants!

We had a great time! Ocean front condo was very comfortable and clean.

Very nice unit. Kitchen had everything you would need and more!! View was amazing and having little shops and restaurants right out your door was a plus.

Ocean fantastic. Needed coffee and salt Tupperware.. just a few things I needed that I didn’t have when I got in. Room very cozy and safe.

This is a really nice first floor condo right on Nye Beach in Newport. The balcony has a fantastic view of the ocean and is great for wildlife and people watching. The king bed was comfortable and had good, clean linens in a good size room with a small closet and a dresser. The ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower combo that had plenty of hot water and was nice and clean. The hall bathroom has a walk-in shower. It was more convenient than I thought it would be to have two bathrooms.The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of dishes, utensils and appliances. We cooked several of our meals with great results and having the bar counter to eat at was super nice.Really enjoyed our evenings with the little fireplace heater going, watching our streaming channels on the tv, relaxing in the recliners and watching the sunsets.

Great central location to Nye Beach. The condo was oceanfront with a great view. I would highly recommend renting this unit for a getaway.

The view from the condo was great. The oven was out of order and there was no barbeque so cooking was not really an option, unless you wanted to use the stovetop. Although the unit was clean, it is in need of paint, especially the woodwork. Some of the furniture could use updating. The unit had two bathrooms and that was a plus.

Outdated decor. Oven not working. Light Bulb missing in bathroom. Lamp in living room bare bulb no shade. Blankets had holes in them. Check out at 10am...its normally 11am. I sent pictures of the above items to Meredith Lodging . Floors are beautiful, view is perfect and close to shops/within walking distance.

The company that host is terrible. Wrong key and no after hrs numbers to talk to. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

The location was great and the condo was comfortable and reasonably clean but was short on some of the amenities most places offer like kleenex and kitchen cabinet supplies--coffee, oil and basic spices. Being expected to strip the sheets off the bed was a surprise when you pay a cleaning fee, and there was a fee to check out later than 10:00.

This place is awesome! Like anywhere, it could use some updating. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and think we might have found out new favorite place to stay at the beach.

View was great, shops and restaurants within walking, and unit was very comfortable.

Wonderful experience! Great location and views. Property Manager was easy to access, answered all of my questions and was very pleasant. Condo was clean with great amenities. Bed was super soft and comfy, the electric fireplace was a perfect touch and the views, I can’t say enough about the views!! We would definitely recommend this condo and we will most definitely rent it again!

The room was clean, and everything worked. The key lockbox could have been a little clearer in the instructions. Took us a few minutes to figure that out. Checkout instructions were a little confusing. The checklist read I was suppose to take the towels and bed linnen

The condo reflects it's age of nearly 25 years. While the couch and recliners were in good condition, there was a leg about to fall off one of the dining chairs. The unit needs paint. We enjoyed the location and close proximity to the beach and good restaurants. The unit was quiet although there didn't seem to be many cars in the lot so that may reflect there were not many people there. We've stayed in other units in the building that were in better condition.

Everything was good, except a very late check in, 4:00, and early, 10:00 am, check out. We asked to check in at 3 and were told it would cost 50 to do so.

The location and view from this condo were amazing! The condo itself was fairly well equipped and pretty clean, though there was dust/fuzz under the bed. The bathtub had no plug or stopper, so there was no way to use it. The main problem was that there was a complete re-roofing project that started the morning after we arrived, blocking access to the condo at times. When the shingles were delivered, the exit for cars was blocked for over an hour. We felt we should have been informed that this was to happen. We would have made other arrangements. We talked to two other couples checking into condos in this complex who HAD been informed in advance, but had opted to keep their reservations. It really put a damper on the trip. Either the condo owner or manager knew this was going to happen and did not inform us. Very disappointing!

To begin with, we’ve stayed in multiple condos in this same building over the past several years. We love the location and up to this point have been very satisfied with our stays in this property. This unit however, was extraordinarily disappointing. To begin with, it was the most expensive unit being offered during the time frame we stayed there so we naturally assumed it would be worth the cost. It was not. The bed sheets had a blood stain on them and at least one of the towels had a large hole. There are two metal boxes and a paper shredder that appeared to be being stored in a corner of the master bedroom. They never removed those despite our asking them to. And the drain stopper broke so we couldn’t easily hand wash dishes. And it just looked run down.

Clean and comfortable. Great location.

trip was great location location location. Condos were a bit on the collide. Bed was super comfy- shower had great water pressure. Sunsets the best

The location of the lock box with key was not clear. Called to get the details and they had to send all info again as we did not get the first batch. Once we got in to condo it was very nice. Ocean view and nice deck. Close to restaurants walking.

Very comfortable bed and furniture!

Celebrated my 85 th birthday and completion of first round of chemotherapy. Wanted a lo- key 4 days of relaxation and recovery surrounded by ocean beauty. It was perfect.Unit could use some cosmetic touches and amenity maintenance, but overall we were pleased.

The property is very nice with an excellent location. It was well equipped, the only problem we had was a few burnt out lightbulbs. We were unable to access the laundry room upon departure so had to leave our dirty linens and towels in the room

We really enjoyed our time at this location! The condo was very clean, cozy and in the perfect location. Check-in and check-out were a breeze as long as you thoroughly review the instructions they send. It was very easy to get to the beach and the views were beautiful! We will visit again!

We used to stay at a friend's house in Newport; he sold it, and we really wanted to go back. Found this location on VRBO and it is right on Historic Nye Beach. The property was quiet, every room has an ocean view, and it is easy walking distance to the Historic Nye Beach District.Furnishings were good, kitchen was well-appointed, and the bed was comfy!

Great location with beach, shops, restaurants. Online description accurate. Bed and furniture were comfortable. Will stay here again in the future

Stocked with thrift store appliances that barely work, charged one number and then when reviewing another email charged a different price, charged tax when there is not tax in Oregon (fraud), stove hardly worked, bathtub did not drain due to it not being plum, check out process was to vacuum the place, take out the garbage, take all the sheets and bedding to a laundry area that only takes coins (which we had none) all by 10AM check out. How many people review the check out process the day before? Will never return to that place or any other in that condo area managed by that company (Meredith Lodging)

Very unclear check in. Tried calling the phone contact and got someone in Capetown, Africa who couldn't speak English very well. 4pm check-in and 10am check out times. If you were 1 minute earlier or later, you'd get charged $50. No good access to beach. Window washers when you were trying to enjoy the ocean view with your morning coffee. Won't be staying there again.

Great place

Nice property and comfortable. Convenient location to beach, restaurant and shops. We wished there was a better selection for games (only saw 2 games and a few puzzles). The place was clean and well furnished. We did not use the TV or pull out couch. A few suggestions would be to clean the left kitchen sink drain (visible gunk build up) and use less cleaner on the floor. We checked in right after housekeeping finished and the floors were noticeably wet throughout the unit and the cleaner smell was so overpowering that it took ~20 minutes with all the windows open to clear out the chemical smell. Due to the amount of cleaner, the floors continued to be tacky throughout our stay.
