Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying at Crescent Dunes 401. The new sofa and chairs in the living room are very comfortable. An ottoman would be a nice addition though - and add some TV trays for eating in the living room. Unfortunately, the dining table chairs were extremely uncomfortable - so much so that we ate in the living room with our plates in our laps. I recommend adding cushions to the dining chairs. All the beds were very comfortable. I think the stove is worn out as it takes forever for burners to get ready to cook, and it takes forever to boil water. We loved the balcony and the view sitting on the balcony was just wonderful. The sliding glass door was really difficult to open and close and the glass is not clear and obscures your view (same goes for the side windows.) The building and the grounds are kept extremely well. Very impressive. The business of working with Retreat is cumbersome with a rental contract that resembles a long-term lease (over-kill for a vacation rental for one week) with multiple pages that you must initial or sign and either fax to their office or scan and email (no eSignature option).

Range needs replaced and two living room chairs are in bad condition. We actually bought throws to place over the chairs because the seat covering and the foam underneath were flaking off. Our request for a new toaster was promptly handled, though. Thank you Jeanne. Bathrooms also need to be updated. Unit was clean and building in good condition. We would certainly recommed this building to friends but would suggest one of the more updated units.

Crescent Dunes 401 was everything that was promised. Clean, comfortable, beautiful views, and pet friendly! We loved it! It’s roomy and the kitchen has everything you could need to cook. Beds were comfy, too! I would highly recommend it! We would stay there again!

We enjoyed Crescent Dunes 401. I would recommend this place. You look forward to vacations and when it comes you want everything to go smoothly, so you can enjoy it. This was the easiest check in & check out process. The Condo was great along with location and pool area. I will definitely be booking again next year. Thank You

This is the first time we’ve stayed in 401z It was clean and comfortable for the most part- the only thing I would say I was not thrilled about was the master bath- the shower is a tiny cube and very cramped. There so much space in the bathroom that is wasted, make the shower bigger like 302 and this place would be our new favorite!

Clean and affordable. Some updates could make it more attractive. Overall nice stay beachfront.
