Oceanfront 3BR/2BA Condo at Springs Towers 603 Pool. Hot Tubs & Fitness Room

Nice place. Great location!

We've stayed at Cherry Grove several times and love the location and convenience to everything. This condo could be more clean (there was a used capri sun and syringe cap under the master bedroom vanity and it was clear furniture had not been moved for cleaning in some time). There is not a good light in the master bedroom, just a shelf light and ornamental light. There is no fan in the master bathroom. The queen bed is very soft. The queen and twin rooms were very hot. Our coffee maker did not work the first day but the property manager quickly replaced it. There is no online check in. These were all mild annoyances and did not retract much from our overall experience. Our biggest complaint was that the floor above us was having construction done all week. It was very loud, making it difficult to watch TV, have phone conversations, and most importantly, for my two toddlers to nap. This of course affected everyone's night time sleep as well. I called the property manager several times, but they offered no solutions nor consolations.

During our stay we had an issue with appliances. The property managers were super responsive and tried their best to keep me updated, however they reported waiting on response from the unit owner. We did not get this resolved during the week that we were there (even though we called on the second day). The unit had basic cleanliness standard: clean sheets and towels were provided, trash cans were empty with new bags. However there were layers of dust on furniture, food crumbs on the couch and lots of mildew in the master bath. This place needed a good deep clean. One of the 4 balcony chairs was also cracked. Good thing we had a cooler to sit on with our 4 person reservation. Location was great, overall facility was clean and felt safe.

I’d definitely stay here again. They had an umbrella and chairs in the closets. Crock pot, air fryer, and other useful things in the kitchen. The view was wonderful! Staff were constantly on premises cleaning and making sure the pool and other places were clean and tidy. They are very vigilant- someone not belonging there tried to sneak in and the staff quickly made sure he could not enter. I felt very safe. The staff could be found at any moment.

Everything was great, except no towels or sheets on the bed when we arrived. Some of the appliances didn’t work and need new mattresses.

I did write and send a full review of everything I wanted to say on Carolina Resorts Realty under the 603 Spring Towers unit, but I doubt they will allow it to be posted. I would not recommend Carolina Resorts Realty or the owner of 603 Spring Towers. They did not respond to all my needs or compensate for any cleaning issues with the unit.I personally think I should have been refunded a cleaning fee. The unit was cleaner when I left than when I entered. I had to spend time cleaning the shower with bleach to get all the mold and mildew gone. It was very nasty. I couldn't even make my bed each day. I made my bed the 1st day and had a horrible allergy attack due to all the dust flying. I did not dust the unit due to I'm highly allergic to dust, mold, and mildew and it was better to leave it be than to stir it up.The cleaner should have been held responsible for the terrible cleaning. The unit was supposedly cleaned by SARAHS SUPER CLEANING. Carolina Resorts Realty offered for me to call the cleaning service and have them come back to take care of the cleaning issues. If it had been cleaned in the first place I wouldn't have had to call and complain. They apologized for us not having enough washcloths. Said someone was supposed to stop by and bring us some, but they wasn't aware we never got them. I took several pictures and sent them to Pam at Carolina Resorts Realty and never got a response. We take a few vacations each year and have a Excellent rental history. We always leave good reviews. This is only the second bad review I have ever wrote. (Other bad review left was for Elliott Beach Rentals).I do hope my full review will be posted on the Carolina Resorts Realty site under to 603 Spring Towers unit.

Overall a decent stay. 3 bedrooms is nice for my family of five. Pros: beachfront, walking distance to food and grocery, good amount of space, easy check in, parking. Cons: beach bar next door is loud at night (live bands), mattresses are terrible, no shade at the pool. All we cared about was being on sand all day, so we mostly used the unit for cooking (decent kitchen) and sleeping (horrible beds). Proximity to beach (6th floor, so you have to use elevator) was the biggest bonus. It’s not an upscale area by any means, but good for a budget-minded family.
