Beautiful property, whale watching from back lanai, sea turtles in cove right behind property, perfect weather, we had a great time

It is away from the crowds and caters mostly to an older crowd who are there to enjoy the peaceful natural beauty. Small pool and oceanfront access give you two ways to cool off.

Love staying here. The location is a snorkel spot. Small number of units. Lovely pool. We only left our place 1x in three days. No need to go anywhere else!

We loved the location, unit, view. The unit is 1 of 20, so quiet and very friendly. Small heated pool, fantastic view and beach front for snorkeling, whale watching, and great sunsets. Others commented on the parking spot, so we were prepared and rented a car so no problem getting in and out. We had a KIA Forte and that seemed like the right size.

One of the most well-appointed VRBO homes we've stayed at! We love to cook & the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. From cookware, utensils, all the extras & fun beach life serve ware. The kitchen is spacious, remodeled, tons of storage & counter space & looks out directly to the gorgeous view of the ocean & sunset. The size of the condo is perfect. The units on this end of the building are wider & very spacious. The sliding glass doors fill the entire front of the unit making the view extra spectacular. This unit is in a very quiet area of the overall property tucked near the corner. You can hear the upstairs guests a little but it didn't bother us at all. We love the walk-out accessibility of the first floor units at Hoyochi Nikko. We have stayed at the property 4 times in 4 different units. This one definitely our favorite! The bathroom is remodeled with new shower and vanity. Super nice! Bedroom has a wall a/c unit that kept the room perfect temperature. The mattress was cozy, a variety of pillows were provided and the bedding was very clean and soft. Hoyochi Nikko is a gem of a development. With only a few units it is a quiet place to stay with pool and depending on time of year, a sandy beach. We always see turtles right in front and in the early months of the year the whales are easily seen breaching right off the shore. This unit provided binoculars which was great for whale watching.

The views and location are beautiful! We chose this stay because of the views and it didn’t disappoint. You can’t beat being able to walk out of your living room directly to the ocean.

This was our first trip to Hawaii. This condo was perfect! It's a smaller property (18 condos), so no crowded pools, etc. We could sit in the beach chairs, listen to the surf, and see whales playing in the distance. We even saw 2 huge turtles down the beach. We had a problem with a light switch, which the property manager promptly fixed. Terrific location! We will stay here again! On a side note, it would be great if the property would heat the swimming pool in cooler weather.
