E komo mai! Come on in! Papakea J201 offers the best Papakea has to offer with its quiet shady-side location and broad ocean views. J201 is a 1-bed, 1-bath condo that accommodates 2 guests. The large windows on two sides of the living area offer sweeping views of the ocean, the island of Molokai, the palm court and the courtyard gardens with their tropical tiki torches. Inside, the décor has a subtle tropical vibe with a dining table that seats four along with two club chairs, making this an inviting space to gather and socialize. The open-ended lanai is a great place to relax and take in the ocean and Molokai views all day. The bedroom features a Cal King bed. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation and entertaining your guests. There is an in-unit washer & dryer and plenty of storage for your groceries, supplies and gear. Because J201 is an end unit, there is no corridor outside the bedroom and it is located away from the elevator and maintenance and service areas, making it one of quieter Papakea units. J201 features split system air conditioning in both the living and bedroom areas. Reliable Wi-Fi service at 100-200 Mbps is provided in the unit by Spectrum.

Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.

***Notice of Property-Wide Plumbing Project:
-An extensive property-wide plumbing upgrade is now underway at Papakea and you may hear some noise during the day, as construction proceeds through the different residential buildings.
-Work on J201 will begin October 20, 2025, with estimated completion scheduled on or around March 1, 2026. Reservations will not be accepted during this time.
-Not all units are affected at the same time and at no time is work being performed on the recreational and landscaped components of the property.
-Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for emergency weekend work.
-Contractors will begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Noisier construction tasks usually do not start before 10:00 AM and are completed by 5 p.m., barring unforeseen circumstances.
-Despite the contractor's best efforts to plan, dates are subject to change.
-The overall project is tentatively scheduled for completion in June 2026. Please know that to compensate for any inconvenience caused by the construction, we have decreased rates for those dates which might be affected by the construction, both before and after the blocked-out dates noted above***

- Construction will tentatively start November 2025 and expected to continue for approximately eight months.
- Work will begin on the ocean-facing side.
- The concrete will generate noise interruption and work hours are tentatively scheduled for weekdays and during standard working hours.

    We enjoyed our stay in condo J201. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the view was beautiful. Every night we would walk over to the wall to see the stunning sunsets with the other guests. Nice to see families BBQing and playing together. Grocery store is close by. Truly a relaxing stay.

    This is a well-equipped, comfortable, well furnished unit. It has a great view and we really loved it. Unfortunately we had to move to another unit mid-stay because construction started above us. The bed is comfortable. Perfect stays was very helpful and accommodating in moving us.

    J201 is very nice. It is an end unit so it has a side window that you can see the pool and the ocean plus the wonderful view from the lanai. This unit has AC in the living room and bedroom plus ceiling fans. The kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you might need to fix your own food. The king size bed is very comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping. The owner also has beach chairs, beach towels and other items to use at the beach. There is a grocery store and other food places nearby. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back again.

    My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the resort was lovely. It was close to the beach and we had a view from the lanai. Loved having a fully stocked kitchen to cook meals. We can't wait to come back to stay again.

    Our stay at Papakea J201 was excellent. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. The bedroom has a king bed that is comfortable and has plenty of storage for a person to put your clothes away and not have to live out of a suitcase. The separate air conditioner and ceiling fan in the bedroom was great, (a person could have one or the other going at night). The bathroom was a good size. The only down fall was that it could use a couple more bath towels. The washer/dryer worked great and we were supplied with enough laundry soap and fabric softer sheets to last us the eleven days we were there. Kitchen is very well equipped. There is everything you need to cook all your meals at the condo, and everything works ?. The condo supplies you with a small and a little bigger cooler, beach towels and beach chairs (the chairs need to be replaced). The living room area has plenty of room for two. The balcony is great for morning coffee or evening meals. All and all this condo was great, would definitely stay at this condo again. Check in was easy and staff at Papakea Resort are friendly and helpful. We will be back and look forward to staying at Papakea J201. Thank you for a awesome stay. Donna
